Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Jupiter

I am extremely disappointed in this establishment. Today I ordered a smoothie and a quesadilla and when I received the order it was not the correct smoothie. I called and spoke to Cindy and she was kind and offered to make me a new one and I could pick it up after work. Well I went back to my office and went to eat my quesadilla and again that was WRONG. I called and spoke to Cindy again and she said she would remake the whole order, I even told her I would bring everything back to show I was being truthful. She said it would be ready by 3:30. Well I went back at 3:35 after I got out of work and no order was ready. I was not mad at Cindy for this but the two men who were working told me they could ONLY remake my smoothie since they were new and did not know how to make food. Well for me, that is unacceptable. If you are going to have staff on shift (and the restaurant was packed) at this exact moment, they SHOULD be able to know how to make food not just smoothies. I asked for a manager and was told he would be in the establishment within the next twenty minutes. Well, I am sorry but that did not work for me as I had a class to get to within the next fifteen minutes. So here I am out of $20 from the smoothie and quesadilla I ordered and never received the correct or full order. I am asking a manager at this establishment to reach out and provide a refund as I did not receive everything I paid for and I even brought back the incorrect items to show. This entire experience has me telling my entire employment what happened so they are not to order from here moving forward and we literally order from there very frequently. Again I am not mad at the original person I spoke with because she was kind enough to offer to remake it but I am more upset with the fact that you have two new employees working alone with no supervision or how to make food when your establishment was packed with customers along with a customer expecting to get what was promised to her. I am looking forward to a manager or owner contacting me...

The employees were very nice and my smoothie delicious...but this is probably the dirtiest restaurant I have ever been to. It was so dirty that we almost considered leaving. The garbage can outside was overflowing. The floor inside looked like it had been cleaned with a dirty mop and there was what looked like mud/dirt, food, drink and trash all over it. The tables had not been wiped off in who knows how long and the chairs were all over the place. It was bad. There were 3 girls working, one was making sandwiches, one was working the cash register and the other was bagging up produce. There were 3 people already waiting. We placed our order and once no one else was in line, the cashier proceeded to organized empty boxes...so basically there was one girl making meals and no one making smoothies. I had to walk outside because I was starting to feel my blood boil. We waited I want to say at least 30 minutes for 2 smoothies. Enough time to walk over to the Greek place next door and order dinner to go. Maybe instead of organizing empty boxes and bagging up produce, those 2 girls could have been making smoothies and helping the other girl make meals so that we wouldn't have to wait in the disgusting restaurant for too long. I LOVE Tropical Smoothie but I can't believe this one is run this way. I hate to speak this way because the girls were very sweet...

This place is literally the best! If your in the neighborhood and want to try a healthier option for breakfast lunch or dinner give them a try you won’t be disappointed. The cashier was so nice and helpful. And I was very surprised how fast my order was ready! I even talked to the manager who was also great i told them what a great job the girl who helped me was doing. I also see they were renovated recently it looks so good in here now like wow! The restaurant was so clean and everything was just laid out so perfect. The restroom was very clean as well which was surprising considering the amount of people that were there. Overall all the employees were some of the nicest I’ve come across and seemed to genuinely care about you and making your order perfect. I would definitely recommend this place to any and all. The Bahama mama they recommended for me was awesome and the chicken bacon ranch was excellent. The price is a great value as they told me I can upgrade to a combo.
