I usually check Google reviews before going somewhere new and I didn't and boy do I regret it. Ordered online for lunch because when I googled best cheese fries in Jupiter this is what came up. Guess it's a good thing I ordered online so they couldn't tell what race I am because when I got there the looks I got when I walked through the door, 😬 yikes. No one greeted me, I had no clue where to go is supposed to pick up so I hovered around the bar waiting for the bar tender to finish her conversation with people who were already served but honestly, if it wasn't for the customer telling the bar tender I was standing there I think I could have been invisible my whole lunch break 😒 I ordered the chicken tenders and fries. Paid $2 extra for "the best cheese in town". The honey garlic sauce for my tenders was a container of garlic. No honey whatsoever. The chicken AND the cheese had zero flavor. How is that even possible?? The nastiest food I have EVER had but it went along with the nasty attitudes in the building (bar tender was the only "nice" person I encountered n that was prob only bc she had to ask my name and hand me my food). It's sad in 2025 people of color are still being made to not unwelcome but it was definitely to be expected and I was def not surprised, in fact I find it hilarious.
