Papa Pete's — Restaurant in Kalamazoo

A bar tender said to me next time we need not to bring drinks in the club. Which were not mine, 3 other people at the table were there 1 hour before I got there. I said, Why you not checking them grown a$$ men. I have a tab with Top shelf drinks and a pizza. His response well you were with them and I said they were here before I got here. I asked for an apology and he said I'm not apologizing because you were with them. I will have his name tomorrow, for sure. This is the shift of 12/20/22 around 830 pm to 1030 pm. My thing is you can’t accuse someone of something that you do not know the truth. Why would I give my card to run a tab, if I was bringing in my own liquor. And I stayed with another friend after that party left and bought another drink top shelf. I feel very disrespected and discriminated against as a black women, paying customer, and corporate punishment. Eclectic mix of clientele not your average beige sheepels. Refreshing to have good conversations with new people and just have fun talking. I'm a Russian Imperial stout or heavy chewable (so "they" tell me) dark stout beer drinker, soo that's was a thin offering but I'm Way outside the norm and I expect that, the porter was good & on tap! so worked great for me.
