Brannigan's Pub — Restaurant in Kalispell

I HIGHLY recommend Brannigan’s for your private event needs. We recently held my mom’s 80th birthday there and it could not have been more perfect. We had a small group so we were able to use The Library (space for under 25). The food options for the day were perfect and they turned out AMAZING. Days later we are still in awe of how can they make it so good when it is buffet style. Also we had “tricked” my mom to arriving saying we were going for pasties, when it wasn’t part of the order my 9 year old was so sad we ordered one of those for her too. I love the presentation with the side of gravy and it too was delicious!

I wish I had taken pictures of the food! The kitchen was frequently checking the setup and keeping it very neat. I would see them come in very stealth, it kept the party completely to ourselves. And with The Library we had private bathrooms as well.

Randi called about a week ahead to confirm all details but she was also available for my panicked self the day of as we worked to pull of a perfect surprise.

I very sincerely appreciate the staff of Brannigan’s. Excellent food and excellent service through the whole process.

Oh my goodness and the bread pudding!! The platter of bread pudding! Wow wow wow!! Our baker no showed with the cake but the bread pudding made up for it and then some!!

Waited 30 minutes to order… still no service. The waitress couldn’t be bothered to seat me or tell me I could choose my own seat even though I stood at the front counter for 7 minutes and she came and went from it 3 times before telling me. Then she took 10 minutes to bring me a menu even though I already knew what I wanted. She left so fast I didn’t even get to ask to order. She didn’t so much as being me a water. I waited a total of 30 minutes wondering if I’d ever get to order before I decided to just leave because the service was THAT bad. This happened not once, but two different times. The first time was bad enough that I wondered if I should go back and give Brannigan’s another try.. but I did go back, because the waitress I had upstairs Wednesday was nice. She said she felt off even though it was a slow night. I get that, she was nice so I came back. But the waitress tonight? Sheeeesh. I can count on one hand the bad reviews I’ve written in my life, but this service was so bad, it needed to be brought to the attention of whomever cares about Brannigan’s reputation and...

We always loved the cozy atmosphere at Brannigans. Usually go to the upper level for a couple of cocktails, service and quality has always been consistant and friendly.

Went there for lunch today, for the first time. I am low carb lifestyle so was hoping for a bunless burger or corned beef and cabbage, hold the mashed. I was excited to see another option, the Steak and Gorganzola Wedge Salad. Sounded good and a refreshing alternative in my dining out limitations.

Our friendly server asked how I would like my steak cooked. For a salad!! Let me just say, I was blown away by the quality of the food. The steak was perfection in tenderness and doneness, the greens were crispy, it was the perfect lunch.

In a time where disappointment and mediocrity, in both food and service, is the norm, I am pleased to report that Brannigan's overdelivered. Both my husband and I (he had the perfect Rueban) thoroughly enjoyed our lunch.
