Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Kalispell

I like the food but the West Idaho St location (#1913) isn't good. I've gotten sick from there a couple times (my guess is bad ice because no one ever cleans the ice machine) and they sometimes close on random days for no reason. On July 5 I ordered sandwiches, chips, cookies and a drink and they left out my chips and cookies. I submitted feedback asking them to fix it and got an email saying they'd ask the owner to remind staff not to short orders. Okay cool I guess? I asked for a partial refund or a promo code to replace the chips and cookies I was shorted and they told me that's up to the franchise owner but they'd reach out to him again for me (wow such service). It's been 2 weeks and I've still heard nothing. When I call, the owner's not there and no one there can do anything. I would just order from the other nearby location but they won't let me because it's 2 miles away instead of 1 mile away and JJs would rather lose my business than let me order from the further location.

Absolute BEST sub shop in North America. FRESH & GOOD ingredients. Freaky Fast Service and fun atmosphere. If you haven't dinned at a JJ's yet, you are missing out BIG TIME...

They fresh new takes on sandwiches that you can't find at other sub shops. I like Subway, don't get me wrong, but JJ's is just awesome. There are no words that do it justice.

My new Favorite is the Cubano. Since I do not have a JJ's in Calgary I have to go to Subway and try to mimic the sandwich and it is just not the same.

If I had to give it a complaint, it would be that they could use more variety in chip flavors. i love the 4 flavors they have, but they should introduce more flavors every now and again. And, I wish they sold their t-shirts that the staff wears. They are the best!

I wanted to do a little update on this review since my last one two years ago. I was in a car accident and we have been struggling with transportation to and from the grocery store. Jimmy Johns in the last month has come through for us many times in the last month and a half. Recently and sadly in the last few orders they have been dropping the ball. Paying for extra toppings on sandwiches and not getting those toppings is leaving a bad taste in my mouth with this location. This store has been on top of things for the most part but I think during the busy times of day they seem to drop the ball. That's fine mistakes happen. What I do like is the positive attitude all the delivery drivers have when they show up with an order for us.
