Went in to this bakery 2 weeks in advance to place an order to be picked up on a specific date. Placed the order with the worker who wrote down everything and took my name and number along with the date to be picked up. 2 weeks later I went in early to see if it was ready at 9am but was prepared to go back around noon if they happened to need more time to finish up. Turns out the girl who took my order failed to pass it on and absolutely no ticket could be found, no record of my order, nothing had been made at all. She told me to come back by noon and sheād have it made and we got it later in the afternoon. I paid, but did ask if it would be possible to talk to the owner or someone about a partial refund because $71 is expensive to be completely unprofessional. I just called back after waiting 2 weeks and the person I spoke to said no, completely disregarding the whole situation. She said because I came in at 9am that it was my fault it wasnāt done, but in reality if I had waited until noon to go in that day I wouldāve gotten absolutely nothing from them because they didnāt know about it and had no intention of baking it until I went in and reminded them. They wouldāve ruined my momās birthday. And this lady today knew I asked for a refund and had my name and number but did not even attempt to contact me over the past two weeks to make things right, instead choosing to ignore me and hope I forgot. This bakery is completely unprofessional and the employees do not care. Will never go in again and I hope they...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy first experience here was great; the gluten-free buns were delicious. I bought some cake that was pretty dry, but overall, it was good. Unfortunately, my second experience was not as great. I purchased a turkey sandwich from the case, & it was simply turkey & a slice of cheese on a dried out bun that crumbled when I bit into it. The two bags of buns I purchased were great like the first time, but 2 days after purchase, they were covered in green mold. At $9 for a bag of 4, this was a huge disappointment. The cookie I bought was perfection; I feel like maybe it's just hit or miss on what items will be good and which ones will be mid. For the prices they charge, I'm not sure how often I will be stopping. Definitely would not recommend the buns unless you use them immediately or freeze them. Overall, convenient little place for anyone with allergies.
Edit: Bakery was kind enough to replace the molded buns, which was really appreciated. Great...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreStumbled upon this bakery when it was newly opened, and I was wonderfully suprised at how allergy friendly and still delicious it was. At the time everything else you could get anything gluten free, if it was even available, tasted like cardboard.šš Anyone who has had gluten allergies for a few years remembers! So I was beyond ecstatic when I found this bakery! Since then, her demand has grown exponentially, and some of her products are carried in local stores, which is great when I make it to the flathead and miss her hours. My absolute favorite place in the world, truly! I must also mention how sweet the owner is and that she does made to order as well. I'm hoping to get my friends at Heaven''s peak in Eureka to start carrying some of her...
