This Taco Bell must be using the same rude people they employ at the one on Idaho St. I went in on the 2nd of January for the 1st time, since they recently opened this location. I was excited to see them opening up a Taco Bell so close to my work. I used the mobile app, so I went inside, where I was completely ignored. After about 5 minutes I hear someone ask, quite rudely, "Why is there a customer in the lobby? ". She then proceeded to tell me that I wasn't allowed in there. I let her know I was let in by an employee... she then proceeded to lecture me on why I couldn't be there. Zero customer service! I went back today after ordering on my mobile app. I went through the drive thru this time, like a good girl, and told them I had a mobile order and gave them my name. They read my order back to me and it was perfect. I get to the drive up window, where the employee kept their back to me and didn't even acknowledge I was there, until another employee pointed to me. She opened the window and spoke to me, letting me know they were working on my order. They finally get me my order and I headed back to work. The burrito was perfect, no cheese! .... but both the spicy potato tacos had cheese and lettuce on them. Why do they bother to double- check my order with me if they aren't going to pay attention? My Mobile order is kept in my favorites so I don't have to retype it in and risk forgetting to put no cheese. Thanks Taco Bell, for trying to kill...
Read more1 start because I don't have the time to sit and wait in line to get food. I've tried many times.
What we have here is quite the economic phenomenon where the food is so cheap (yet tasty when prepared even semi-correctly), but you must be able to sacrifice an amount of time that could be prohibitive if you are gainfully employed. But the problem with Biden Bucks is that now only jobless people have the time to sit in the drive-thru and that's a BIG portion of the valley now, it seems. Heck, I would gladly pay twice as much for the Taco Bell if I could get in and out in a reasonable amount of time, but it seems I have to either a.) hire an assistant to get my Taco Bell or b.) use DoorDash which is laughable and I'll never, ever, in my life use DoorDash.
So there you go! What once was an egalitarian vice that everyone could unite around has now turned into a thing I can't afford because time is no longer correlated with money. This is Biden's America and it's not going to get better any time soon.
Edit: to the gentleman commenting on "y'all's expectations", yeah we should raise their wages, and in turn raise prices exorbitantly. If you're jobless, able-bodied, and on the gov't dole, Taco Bell is too good for you and perhaps you should prepare your own meals like impoverished people did for the history of...
Read moreThis Taco Bell is the worst I've ever been at. The service is so slow it takes almost half an hour for your food to be given to you. I work with doordash, and I try to avoid this place the best I can because it takes forever for orders to get to you, but even doordash is realizing that no one accepts orders from here, and has started to put it in double orders to tempt people to take the taco bell orders cause of the higher pay price. Then, if u accept to get an order from taco bell, you have to wait for an order for 20+ minutes while your other customer waits extra time and their food is getting soft in your car from the heat. This place is a joke. Corporate really needs to do something about this place. Also the blonde haired girl slams the food on the counter, and me and a bunch of other doordashers as we were waiting quietly in the lobby yelled at us that if we didnt like the slow service then we could leave, even tho none of us had said anything or complained. EDIT: as I wrote this I had been waiting for an order that they were working on. I waited 15 minutes, then when I asked how much longer for my order, which they confirmed earlier they were making, they told me it had already been picked up! Waste of time! Do...
