Edit: The magic was gone by the end of the first month. Every time we’ve come back, it’s taken WAY too long to get our food. Usually we only order one entree (burrito, chimi, tacos). No one in line in front of us, and wait around 30 minutes. 30 MINUTES FOR ONE THING. Not to mention we’ve had to repeat our orders the last 3 times as soon as we got to the window because they couldn’t get it right at the menu mic. Food is decently priced (though they’ve gotten the order wrong more often than right) and doesn’t taste bad. We will continue to come back to support local businesses anyways. We all know how SLOW winter months are & it takes locals to keep people in jobs!!
I just hope this updated review is seen & my feedback is taken into consideration!!

Finally made it to Don Betos…figured we’d wait for the crowd to die down!
They were AWESOME! They were so kind, patient, and willing to work with my allergies. (I’m gluten/dairy/egg free.)
The food tasted good—the ranch is DANGEROUSLY DELICIOUS! Decently priced.
The building is super cute & has a way fun vibe. Will come...
Read moreThe first month this place was open, it was fantastic. Customer service, food quality, etc. The owner & employees were super nice too! Everything was top notch.
Since then, it has gone significantly downhill. We keep trying to come back to support the locals, but I think we are done at this point.
Today, we went through the drive through to get our food after a LONG HARD day.
Unfortunately, they messed up our order again. This time we didn’t have time to go back to get replacements. So I called to ask for a refund or something because one can only be so forgiving. I didn’t even ask for a refund for all items, just the ones that we couldn’t eat due to allergies.
The guy on the phone said I had to go back to the store if I wanted a refund. I said I couldn’t come back tonight, but I could tomorrow. He responded noting he didn’t know if he could give me a refund later & that I had to come today.
So I’m out $15 & can’t even eat the food I purchased.
I hope things get better, but in the meantime, just go to Escobar’s where the food &...
Read moreOn entering Don Beto's at about 3:15 in the afternoon, I could immediately smell the toxicity of the cleaning that had been evidently just been done. The air in the restaurant reeked of the cleaning solutions that had been use.
I stuck it out, as I wanted to see What the food was like, which was fine as well as the service. But the toxicity of the cleaning will prevent me from coming back. I'm surprised the staff tolerate the toxicity, or perhaps they don't care or are so use to it, they don't notice it any more.
Other restaurants, that REALLY ARE CLEAN, don't have the smell of Pinesol in the air. Pinesol is such a strong chemical that one can smell it, as I did when visiting Don Beto's. Visit another restaurant some time, and take a whiff of the air. Lavender is fine, but the Pinesol in the air disqualifies the quality of...
