Usually I am very pleased with my Chipotle experiences as they have always provided generous portions and has been a childhood favorite of mine growing up. I wish I had looked at the reviews of this place before coming here because I was sorely disappointed due to the minimal portion sizes. I had to keep asking for more food for almost every item I wanted that I wouldn't get charged for. I can tell you... if this minimalistic attitude continues this place will go out of business and lose money if not already. People come with the expectation of having a meal that leaves them full and/or with leftovers. It's been that way my whole life no matter where I've gone. I barely tasted any chicken in my bowl and I was pissed enough to write this review. Looking over the other comments about this place I feel sympathy for those who have had a worse experience at this restaurant. I personally have worked in the food industry and you can't treat customers like they're a burden to serve and feed. I get it, some days you have bad days and don't want to be there but don't take out how you feel on a customer with their portion size and expect them to tip, it's not right nor is it fair. You don't know where a person came from or how hard they work for the money they earn. Looking over these comments, it seems like I came on a lucky day apparently because it sounds like they're almost always out of prepped food and ingredients. The only item they didn't have that I saw was fajita vegetables, had they been missing multiple ingredients I would have just left. I should've taken the dead parking lot on a Friday night as a red flag the moment I pulled in. Chipotle always has a line to the door, that was my mistake. I will find...
Read moreNot surprised at the low rating they have. This was once one of the better locations but lately every time i go, they are out of something. Today it happens to be forks, but donât they tell you until after you have paid and see they donât have any and ask. I ordered a salad today and asked for a refund because i canât eat a salad with my hands or a spoon as they suggested. The manager is obviously incompetent and havenât a clue how to do inventory or customer service or the store would have forks and they would let people know if they didnâtâŚya know a little common courtesy âyou wont be able eat that here because we donât have forks.â I told him they need to let people know and he says they canât put up signs but have no problem doing that to inform they are too lazy to make salad dressing at times.l, which he was also complaining about doing today. âYall gon make me quit my jobâ was the exact comment from the âmanagerâ. They wonât put up signs because they know it would drive sales down especially for salads if they tell people there is no way for them to eat their food, although according to the manager, Iâm the only person that has an issue with ordering food i canât eat. Thank you to the person who made my salad for at least offering a covering for me to take it to go although i needed to eat it there so i could get to work. I did not have time to go find a fork and somewhere to ear my food, hence the...
Read moreI always walk in to order, noticed they recently increased prices, that I can understand⌠But then when making the bowl, theyâre giving me basically HALF the regular serving! I had to say something half way through, I worked 10 hours, this is my dinner and Iâm used to a nice full bowl, this was looking VERY sad! They threw in a little more rice, then I had them put on cheese and lettuce, and AFTER saying how sad it looked they were hardly putting any on! I asked them to add more, he put a little more. Btw, they were out of veggies and the promo steak, theyâre always out of stuff here. Today I came in about 6:15pm, Iâm usually out of work at 3:15pm and theyâre out of things regularly even at this early hour.
So I get home to eat, and even after asking for more and them adding a little, it was still so little compared to what Iâm used to⌠You know what? Charge what you need to I charge for the food, but if youâre going to skimp out on the portions, youâre double dipping and itâs just not worth making the trip to this place. Besides this bad review, I need to back it up and talk with my money and stop going to this location. I understand why itâs usually dead here.
Coming to leave this review, I was surprised how many bad reviews this place has, but reading them, they deserve them all and theyâre doing it to themselves. Give people what they pay for and the money will come, try to be cheap and youâll reap...
