We went to Target yesterday to purchase a phone for Consumer Cellular and get data transferred to the new phone. We arrived before 9 am and were told by Melanie and Christy that the man who is contacted to do that would arrive at 10 am. Since we live 30 minutes away, we told them we would stay in the area and return at 10. When we went back, Melanie was obviously avoiding us. Another gal went and got her. Melanie said the manager was on her way to talk to us. Christy was the manager. Neither woman offered any apology or explanation to us. I went to guest services where a nice young man checked the schedule and said the contracted man was not coming in at all that day. I was furious and told Christy that. I asked for the name of the store manager. She gave me the district manager’s name and number. She offered me a gift card which I refused. We still received no explanation or apology. I’ve left a message for the district manager who has never called me back. So, obviously, there is no recourse for a customer who has a problem at this Target. Naturally, I will never shop there again. I wonder why Melanie and Christy are working in a department where they say, “I don’t know anything about what phones you can get for Consumer Cellular”. Were they not trained in any customer service? It’s a sad state of affairs when a store hires...
Read moreI have been going to this target for 5 years. They made some changes last year not only in the store, but the staffing. The way it is organized is ridiculous. The layout makes no sense. But I knew I could adjust to that. That's not the main problem. The problem is that they stay out of product for days on end. There is never a day that I go in there and they will be out of multiple items. There will be whole areas of shelves and freezer section that are empty. I can never plan a meal because inevitably something I need will be out of stock. I have been to a manager twice. They said they don't have night stockers anymore. Apparently they don't have very good day stockers either. I still stop there, because there is nothing else around me. But I have started going back to Walmart a lot. It's about 8 miles from Target but it's not nearly as frustrating. And I used to hate Walmart. Or I will drive past Target several miles to go to Publix. And it's because I know Target is going to be out of some of the things I need. Every time I go to Target and my husband is with me, I inevitably end up saying I hate Target. It used to be my favorite store. I have spoken to a manager a couple of times, and I also called Target's customer service 800 number. Nothing has changed in the last year. And I still hate...
Read moreWe came the day after my sons birthday to use his gift card. We wanted to purchase another xbox card and the cashier told us to just reload his existing card, which we did. Got home and no money on the card made another trip to get it fixed. But instead of fixing the issue they told us to wait a couple hours or a day or 2 for the money to load. Now on trip 3 which was today money still not loaded so they finally refunded the money because you cant reload the xbox card after all . So after that was handled we shopped for about 1 hour went to self check out and had a cashier helping us spent 80.00 more just to walk out and have security guard, one police officer and another man stop us at the door like we were stealing. We had our 9 year old son with my husband and I, my husband had to lift up his jacket and shirt which he did. To say the least it was very humiliating. Then preceeded TO walked out With several couples behind us and they didnt check their reciepts nor did they even give them a second glance. I am beyond upset I have wasted gas and time to get the stores mistake fixed and my son missed the chance to purchase his upgrade on xbox with his birthday money just to be harassed and humiliated after spending another 80...
