Good day to everyone. First off, I don’t like writing a review like this, but the behavior of an employee at the Cook Out on Canon blvd last night, most definitely warrants it. First I always have the same thing at Cook Out, two cook out styled hot dogs all the way, add ketchup to both. Well, at this Cook Out, I was trying to place my order, but was very rudely interrupted by the male drive-thru assistant. At each time I tried to explain my order, I could only say the hot dog portion, and he would interrupt again. And I told him to let me completely mention my order, because I didn’t was chili on both dogs. Still he interrupted again, stating “ this is what we do”. So your employees interrupt the guest and try to out think the guest order??? I laughed at him at the speaker and said is this how business is conducted?? I had the impression that this person was never trained in guest employee behaviors!?!? But is very clear is Cook Out is not holding their employees accountable! NOT IN THE SLIGHTEST! Please my review on the Mooresville highway 150 location. And it all could be a bad night for said individual, but he is not train properly in customer service.
I know this, because I am that trainer. So to the General Manager, Chase Covington at the Canon blvd location, please take time in your interviews and pick up on body language and bad behaviors when talking to potential employees. Your saving grace for last night was a new employee that apologized for his behavior. I think her name was Tisch ( spelling 😊). Her first or second night in the window. Cook Out corporate, please get your District Managers to look at these two locations. You have a major competitor about to come to the area. Customer service is job one! Give me a call I will help get you there. Because...
Read moreWe were traveling so of course we had no straws, silverware, condiments, etc. It was 12:23am and we pulled over during a multistate move. We went to Cookout on S Cannon in Kannapolis, NC where Jaden was our cashier name on our ticket. I ordered a tray with bbq sandwich with slaw on it with fries and onion rings and cheerwine. I asked for ketchup specifically 3 times just ordering that tray. I ordered my wife her tray with a reg chicken sandwich (where specifically stated lettuce, tomato, and Mayo) with white cheddar cheese bites and corn dog and sweet tea. Again asked for ketchup. We should have checked the bag but we were tired. Getting to our hotel only to find out we have NO straws, no napkins, no ketchup. Start opening our trays to see my bbq sammy has NO slaw. Onion rings were BROWN and hard they were so burnt. My wife opens her tray to see a corndog that is so burnt it resembles a charred piece of wood; opens her chicken sandwich where the piece of grilled chicken is so tiny it doesn't even cover half the bun! And that is all that is on there, no lettuce tomato or mayo. Again we were traveling so we...
Read moreThe girl working around 11:30 PM 4/10/2019 was extremely rude and shouldn't be working at this amazing restaurant. We arrived around 11:30 PM and the ordering machine seemed to have some problem and always cut the sound. When we finally reached the window, the girl charged my credit card for $12.08 and threw the wrong food into my car without asking what our order was. When I tried to confirm it was the correct order, the girl got extremely agitated and started yelling: "I cancelled your order because I thought it was some kids joking." "We have only two people working here, just wait". Ok, so I just said, if this is not my order can I just leave and get the $12.08 refund to my credit card? Then something unbelievable happened. She threw $12 cash at me and said: "Please don't come to this restaurant again", "I'm calling the police". This blew my mind. I might understand if she was having a busy working night and not feeling well or she had encountered some prank order before. But being this rude is unacceptable. If she can not handle the stress of this work. she should better find...
