Mr.Burrito Mexican Grill. — Restaurant in Kannapolis

I recently had an amazing dining experience at Mr. Burrito in Kannapolis, and I truly regret not trying them out sooner. This taco spot has become my absolute favorite in town. The staff is friendly, the restaurant is clean, and their attention to detail is outstanding.

Let's start with the chips and salsa—they blew me away. The tortilla chips were freshly made, perfectly salted, and you could tell they were recently cut and fried. The salsa was homemade and had just the right amount of spiciness, unlike some other places where they try to pass off jarred salsa as homemade.

I ordered two chorizo tacos, one chicken, and one shrimp, and all of them were incredibly well-seasoned and cooked to perfection. The flavors were on point. When I got my order to go, it was nicely wrapped to keep the tacos warm. I also appreciated that they separated the toppings to prevent them from getting soggy. It's evident that they take pride in their handmade tortillas.

Overall, this experience surpassed my expectations. Mr. Burrito will now be my go-to taco spot in Kannapolis. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch taco experience. It's a definite 11 out of 10 for me!

Mr. Burrito was pretty good. Just little nit-pickey items of mine dropped the overall to a 4. My wife had the ACP with shrimp and not chicken. She said it was good. I had the quesodia with ground beef. It was good, but my little issue was that the quesodia came out crispy (Great!), but by the time I got to the 2nd & 3rd sections it had become soggy and hard to pick up. The 3rd section I had to use a fork to eat it. I'm sure if I had ordered steak or chicken it wouldn't have gotten soggy. Again, it was good, but I'm used to picking them up eating them, even when I order ground beef from other establishments. Just me being picky. The other little issue I had was with the queso & salsa they brought out for our nachos chips before our meal. Both were sub par. Other than these little issues it's not a bad place for authentic...

Delicious food! I walked in and ordered, not really knowing what I wanted. But as good as my food turned out to be, I can't imagine ordering anything would be a mistake. LOL It was so good! I got chicken and rice, but had them do it with grilled onions instead of bell peppers. While I waited, I got some of the delicious ice cream they had there! And the lady working the counter was very patient and kind with me. I stopped in around 1:30 on a Tuesday afternoon for lunch. They also included chips and salsa with my takeout order.
