Fajita night for us this time! (Pictured: Fajita Salad with Chicken and Fajita Fries) My husband and I have found La Revolucion to be our top choice of restaurants within the city of Kannapolis. OK, Yes! - It is our Favorite! We are always greeted with a smile, seated immediately, followed by a basket of fresh, warm chips, and the best salsa we’ve ever had! As that tasty treat is being set at our table, our drink order is taken, followed up with a carafe of water and water glasses while we wait for our top notch margaritas to be crafted and delivered. The atmosphere is the closest thing to “home” we’ve been able to find since moving to the area in 2018. At this point, we’ve visited our new found family and friends so often, it’s become somewhat of a challenge to decide what to order. EVERYTHING is nothing short of Amazing! We are looking forward to seeing what the warm weather brings, and hope to make more friends to enjoy great food and drink with. A very special shout out to Sergio, Lupita, Mike, Carrie, and Scott for the wonderful company and conversation this evening. (Psst…We’ll even let you in on the best kept secret this city has to offer-Live music with Scott and Carrie on Wednesday nights from 7pm-(approximately) 8:30pm!) If you have been here in the past, don’t forget to come back! If you haven’t, you’re missing out on a wonderful experience! Everyone should take some time to experience Wonderful Wednesdays or make any day of the week the Best day of the week! See you soon,...
Read moreYesterday I decided to try something new for brunch and came here to Casa Durham. The restaurant itself, is cute and adorable place to come. There is outside seating as well as indoor seating. Parking lot is small (especially when there are some customers who take up more than one space).
Service: Service was slow, however, when I arrived there were a few larger parties and since the food is not cooked until you get there, it was worth the wait. They bring you some water to start with along with a glass of ice. The server you could tell was busy or just moved fast and talked fast, you can decide.
Food: I ordered the eggs benedict with a side of home fries. The hollandaise sauce was broken and there was only a small amount on the eggs which was disappointing for the price point. The eggs were cooked just right and the pulled pork was seasoned very well. However, half of the biscuit was hard and crunchy was perhaps left under a heater too long. The top of biscuit was great but the bottom half too hard and crunchy. The home fries were okay. Nothing to really write home about. Had some seasoning on them but not a lot. Could use some more seasoning. The orange juice mimosa was good but came in a plastic flute. And for the price, was very disappointed that it came in a plastic flute.
Summary: Overall, the atmosphere was nice and the service was okay, but the breakfast still needs a little tweaking and the mimosa really should be in a glass flute if they are going to charge the price...

I was the first customer to order sopes here (the secret menu) I’m allergic to red onions, they specially made me some guacamole and pico de without red onions, my waitresses are beyond nice and professional. My Husband said, “this is the only Mexican restaurant going forward that we will eat at.” I’m very impressed! Hands down, we will more than likely eat here at least 3-5 times a month. They have a great lunch menu as well. I can’t wait to try!!! Take my word!!! Eat Here!! After a baseball game, after work, after school, after church, after a nap, 😂 Just come here and eat. You will not be disappointed. Oh yeah, get the steak fries!!! They are to die for!!! My Husband about busted trying to eat them all by himself 😂 They were so good, he didn’t want to stop...
