Donna and her team are a STAPLE in the community!!! Going to eat cakes is an experience for me every time I go! It’s not just about cake but about the owner and people who do so much for the town of Kannapolis! I have supported the bakery since day one, I will always support this bakery. I asked for a naked cake for my mother in laws 70th birthday and got a fully frosted cake! Now apparently I was told that the owner had to deliver a wedding cake and wasn't there to supervise when we called about it. The guest did love the cake and thought it was delicious but it wasn't what I ordered for the birthday girl who doesn't like icing much. Now for a solution for the mistake was to give us a credit for Thanksgiving or Christmas, both of which we will be out of town and not really feasible. This wasn't cheap for not being done correctly. I will not be using them again. Granted mistakes happen and the guest enjoyed the cake. However I didn't get what I paid for so just be on top of things when you order from them.
