Without a doubt the worse service Ive ever had. 30 min wait to be expected on a Saturday night so not an issue there. And from the start the staff was friendly we were seated with menus, silverware, no napkins. The waitress was friendly, joking and polite took everyone's drinks and appetizers 2 orders of Southwest egg rolls with ranch and a order of chips and quesso. Drinks came except mine a alcoholic beverage which usually takes longer although no one was sitting at the bar. The south west eggrolls came but no ranch we asked another waitress for it she returned saying here I guess shes (our waitress) not getting it and no chips and quesso which didn't arrive till after the main meal and after being asked for again. Alcoholic beverage came once we were done with the appetizers probably 15 to 20 min after ordering. Meals arrive with the kids meal cheeseburgers charred to the point that it was not edible especially for a kid. Everyone agreed there food was not on par with what we usually get from Chili's, everytime we asked for a condement or napkins or drinks it took 2 to 3 times of asking, and we were never once asked if we needed anything else not even refills. The only thing we addressed was the kids charred burgers with the waitress which she said she would bring us new ones we never recieved it took 20 to 30 min to recieve our check. At which point i decided it was time to speak to a manager I started with just a wow in shock of the poor service after explaining all this to the manager. He said we'll she is new basically blaming her and that this is her first big table (party of 8) and that they took the cheeseburgers off and that this will be addressed I said okay and thank you and he walked off. After reviewing the receipt not only did they not remove the cheese burgers they charged me for the ones we didnt recieve. After waving down the manager yet again with another manager im assuming he was explaining the situation to I explained the ticket error and said thank you and have a good night and left. I myself travel frequently and its always been a good experience at other Chili's and have eaten at this one before but not tonight again WOW yes the waitress made mistakes but this most certainly wasn't just her fault if this was her first big table why wasn't she receiving support from other co-workers instead of snide remarks about her, the bartenders make the drinks, the kitchen makes the food and the management is responsible for it all but instead blamed her and then made there own error while blaming her. I didnt recieve an apology from either manager or if I did it was so lack luster it wasn't noticeable. With a tab that was $196 and some change the service should have been a lot better. This doesn't not seem like a one employee problem but a entire staff problem starting...
Read moreToday is 6-5-2015. I took my wife and kids to eat @ Chili's on 9600 NE Barry Rd on 6-2-2015. The food was just okay, but our server was pretty good. My wife and I had the 2 meals + appetizer for $20. I didn't notice at that time that the app we ordered wasn't on the list of "approved" appetizers, but the server never said a thing and brought us what we ordered without incident. My kids liked it so much they wanted to return tonight, but this time without my wife as she was at work. This time the table and seats were sticky. My kids and I waited for about 15 minutes before anyone came to take drink orders, it wasn't even out server and they weren't even at half capacity. I tried to order the same thing we ordered the last time, this time with my kids (6 & 8 yrs old) splitting one of the 2 for $20 plates (which our server seemed annoyed about) and the same appetizer we ordered the last time. After about 5 minutes our server came back to the table to inform us that she couldn't bring the app we ordered because it wasn't "approved" on the menu. I said "Oh! i didn't realize, but they gave it to us just 3 days ago. Could we still get it?" To which she replied "I can do it this time, but just for future reference, we won't be able to again." I said "that's fine and thank you." About 10 more minutes passed and this hideous pot marked troll of a manager came over to our table and began to flat out berate me about how they can't do this app. I explained the situation but she just stood there shaking her head 'no' as if to call me a liar that we were served this just 3 days prior. She said "You didn't get this at this Chili's" to which I produced the receipt from my wallet to prove to her that we indeed did (hang on to your receipts, they come in handy from time to time). She told us that she just wasn't going to do it and we're free to order something else. I told her to cancel our order, collected my kids and left. I've seriously never been treated so rudely at a restaurant by the manager of all people and I will NEVER eat Chili's again. It wasn't that she couldn't do it this time for us, she just had a severe bug up her ass and refused to. What happened to "serving the customer"? BTW~ the app we ordered was the same price as the so called "approved" ones, so what's the problem? Piss on that chick and...
Read moreMy husband n I stopped here tonight for supper. We still had another 3 hours of travel time . We had considered going to another restaurant, but instead chose this one. We’ were told that if we sat at the bar, there would be no wait time. But if we wanted the dining room, we’d have a 15 minute wait. Because we wanted to get back on the road as soon as we could, we decided to sit at the bar. The bartender, didn’t get her name, was so very busy. Did the best she could with the situation, but clearly was overwhelmed. My husband ordered a beer (which took awhile) and I, an ice water. Eventually, the bartender took our food order. We waited, and waited and waited. We asked the bartender when our food order would be ready, she said she was going to check on it. Finally, my husband got his salad. Eventually, I got my entree n my husband got his sandwich. The bartender, who brought us our food, apologized. And then a gentleman, not sure if he was assistant manager (salt n pepper colored hair, with glasses) came to us n also apologized and said he’d take care of it. We ate our meal, which was very good, When it came time to leave, we asked the bartender if we were free to go. She asked what the fella had said to us. We told her that we thought, because of the exceptionally long wait, he was going to take care of the bill. She said she’d go check. She came back and said that the cost of my entree would be taken off. To which I relied, “my husband’s meal was also late…,served at the same time as mine.” She said she’d go check again. Came back and said that the side I had ordered and my husband’s beer would be taken off. But not my husband’s meal. By then we wanted to get out of there. Our disappointment is not with the wait staff, it is with whomever is the lead manager..,possibly a bald headed fell? Why did that poor bartender, who was running ragged, have to be running back and forth? Could not the manager or team leader have come and spoke to us? Felt unprofessional. I am not one to write negative reviews because I know they can ruin a business, but our disappointment with the very long wait time and then how poorly it was handled needed to...
