I ate there on a friends suggestion. Awesome food. I had the chorizo breakfast burrito with everything except green peppers and sour cream plus decaffeinated coffee. I opted to want gravy instead of sour cream in my burrito. The burrito comes with side of salsa which I wish there was more that comes with order. The burrito did not have the gravy in it I ordered and had sour cream was still served on the side. The coffee was freeze dried which was a first I’ve seen done and was unacceptable but I drank it. The first cup was actually good. The second one had stuff floating around and was weird looking. The burrito was killer tasting even though no gravy inside. I sat in the back area by the door to notice the much needed rug on the walk in ramp needs replaced from how nasty the build up was. The front entrance has a step up that I did not notice and about tripped going in the front door. Once inside a another step down part is there. Strange entry ways and only the back entrance was what really caught my attention on cleanliness. The cost to replace the carpet is minimal or just have it a concrete piece without carpet. Easy fix. The main entrance needs ramps instead of stepways. Other than my negatives, the food was really good. They could use help serving customers though. Just one extra waitress/waiter would be nice. And please stop serving freeze dried coffee for decaf drinkers. Maybe not enough people want decaf and may get old sitting on warmer is...

Read moreMy best friend and I came here for my birthday breakfast. It was a Thursday morning. We are knocking out all of greatest breakfast places in KC, and this place came in on the top ten.
We sat at a little two person booth. It definitely had that diner feel to it. Old 50's pictures up on the wall, black and white checkered tile, turquoise booths, you get the idea.
I ordered the veggie omellete with a side of french toast. The Omellete was pretty tasty. Typical omellete. Lots of american cheese piled in. The french toast was your quintessential french toast. Nothing spectacular about it, but it was good. The hashbrowns were crispy and delicious. Especially with some gravy on top.
The coffee was your typical diner coffee. A bit watered down, but not too shabby.
My buddy got the benedict. It had a TON of hollandaise on it; they did not skimp. He also ordered the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were okay, but the gravy was superb. Very good Gravy.
I'm not sure I'd eat here again. With the near proximity to the Noshery, I'd go there instead.
The prices were good. I bet you could get out of here with two people and tip for $20. The service was okay. My coffee was only refilled once or twice. I felt like it was hard to spot us in our little corner...
