Five Guys — Restaurant in Kansas City

This man has been here for over 5 yrs that I know of. Don't know if he's a manager or not. So I come in to make an order. I was getting some peanuts and this man basically stared a hole right through me. My coworker asked what his problem was because he noticed this man stating. I asked him he needed to say something or did he need to do something. Did he have a question? He reply was why would I need you?! I replied you were staring at me following me with your eyes when I was attempting to remove myself from your line of sight. Here's your chance to say whatever you need. He replied in language I didn't comprehend. I figured he wouldn't be man enough to say whatever he said in English so I waved him off and waited for my food. This was my first time going to five guys my friend recommended it to me. I finally went to this location And it definitely felt like the people that work there didn't want to be there and I get it no judgment. I was just really excited to try it but by the time I walked out with my food it felt kind of like I had just been played. (Keep in mind this could all just be in my head thus the 2 stars instead of one). Reason being if I'm finally gonna spend 20$ for a burger I want it to feel like I'm not doing a disservice by being there. Anyway I get home and there is literally just cheese and burger with no other toppings and the bun is soggy. The fries were also sort of limp and wet . This may be my first public 2 star review. Came to eat here with my fiancé. After ordering we walked over to make our drinks and both machines are not working. Someone was trying to get them working but after about 5 min into our meal, we were given a bottle of water. When we were finish with our meal, I kindly asked for a refund on the $2.19 drink I never got. When i asked, the person who appeared to be the shift manager or manager stepped in and very rudely told me that if I get a refund, I now had to pay $.99 for bottle of water that we had been given. Im a pretty nice guy and I was kind of caught off guard by it, and that's probably why I agreed to pay for it. So she gave me back the 2.19 and then she rung up a 1 dollar bottle of dassani. I should never have paid for that water. My fiancé also told me, after we left, that the cooks and others were snickering when I walked up, cup in hand. Unprofessional all around....
