Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers — Restaurant in Kansas City

This location has only been open about a year. Love the food but getting disgusted with the lack of upkeep. Have had issues the last several times there. Went there yesterday, they have like 4 or 5 ketchup dispensers but I had to go to three different ones before I found one with ketchup in it. The drink dispenser spill tray was literally heaped with ice. Sweet tea was empty, last trip, BOTH teas were empty. The Freddie's sauce dispenser was empty. The spicy sauce dispenser had sauce but was oozing a disgusting mess of goo from the top of the pump. The drink area had maybe two cup lids in the dispenser. When I went to the counter to place an order, nobody was there. When two girls eventually came around the wall to the order area, they saw me but stopped with their backs to me and had a conversation for about a minute before turning around to take my order. It's a shame because the burgers really are good but the help in this location has no concept of staying on top of the little things that make dining simple, relaxing and pleasant. I shouldn't have to tell them EVERY time I go that the tea is empty, the ketchup is empty, the Freddie's sauce is empty, there are no lids etc etc etc. I actually took several pictures but don't see a way to post them here.

There's a burger place just down the road called L. C.'s Hamburgers etc that has been around for years and is amazingly good. Freddie's has a great burger too (different but equally good) but if going there every time means dealing with all the jacked up service, I'll just always go to L.C.'s...

I came through the drive through at approximately 2104 (9:04pm) on Saturday September 18th. I approached the speaker and an employee yelled faintly from the doorway "we're closed" I started to pull around the building to leave. I heard a male employee say something so I slowed to ask what he said or if it was to me. A female employee asked if my dog wanted a pup cup after already telling me the business is not serving paying customers this was very rude. I replied not if her mom can't have one and she rudely said "OK BYE". I don't know this employee's name or if she's newer or a supervisor. What I'd like for her to understand is simply this. You cannot offer a free service to any one or thing if you are refusing patrons who are willing to spend money at 9pm driving to come and get some ice cream for them. It was a moment that made me question weather or not I'd really like to ever come back to this establishment because of her tone at the end. There were at least three employees outside the back door with the light to the drive through still on. If you truly close at 9 it needs to be updated on all platforms. Deeply disappointed...

My family and I went here the other day (Sunday) to be exact. I was told this place was like steak & shake but better. I overall was disappointed.

Pro's: *Food is cooked fresh. *Food comes out quickly. *Staff are all nice, friendly.

Cons: *Much higher prices than steak & shake *Less food *Burgers taste the exact same as steak & shake *Honey mustard isn't that good (and I'm a lover of honey mustard) *There isn't a server, this is basically a self service joint with higher prices.

If you go here I recommend just getting the kids meal. It's cheaper, and comes with the same as the combo meals. The cheeseburgers are even almost the same size. You get the same amount of fries as a regular meal too. Plus it comes with a drink (yes it's a small drink, but if ur in the restaurant you can refill it as many times as you want.)
