French House KCMO — Restaurant in Kansas City

Probably the scammiest spot in Kansas City I’ve ever experienced. He charged us $65 per person for charcuterie, which consisted of crackers and meat. no cheese. Will never be coming back nor recommending this place to anyone. There are much more authentic french places around the city. Please support those instead.

UPDATE: as evidenced by the response to my review, we are seemingly the only people to have ever eaten at this establishment; take that as you will. with no menu or pricing shown anywhere in this hair salon/import store before or during your “meal”, I hope you can also come to the conclusion that this business is a scam and should be avoided at all costs (hopefully saving you $65+...

Came in for a glance this morning and had one of the most pleasant experiences. The owner had a nice warm conversation with me and gave me a full service cheese and wine pairing/sampling, along with a nice tour of his shop. The number of authentic French imported items was impressive. So many interesting things to try. I left with two pain au chocolat as well as some truffle salt and pear jam. Overall a lovely human...

Recommend this place as a fantastic spot to get your hair styled and enjoy tea and a croissant. However this is not a place if you want to eat a meal. Marketing boasts a 'French breakfast' which is accurate as in France folks just have 1 pastry and coffee. However if you are use to American or English breakfast, you WILL be disappointed.
