I am a Door Dash driver that represents McDonalds all across the Kansas City metropolitan area. I arrived yesterday during the lunch rush to pick up two orders for McDonald’s customers at the Wagy’s Metro North store in the Kansas City Northland. For 10-15 minutes I was the only person at the front of the lobby at the lunch time rush. I waited patiently in silence for those orders. Not once in that time frame did anyone acknowledge me with “Welcome to McDonalds” or “How can we help you• I watched as several drive through orders got priorities over my customers who orders sat there and waited behind the drive thru orders! Finally, I stood up and promptly said…I have been in management for 30 years and I have never seen and understood why my orders where put on the back burner of priority. I finally received a response after 15 minutes. “. We are waiting on cookies on one of your orders! Lunch hour rush and no cookies made. Really? That’s poor planning for sure! This prompted two male employees to get involved. One of the male employees spoke up with an attitude and said…”you should have said something to us” I said are you serious? I am your customer and I represent two other families who are customers of McDonalds. What was most interesting about that statement to me. Two Managers heard him and absolutely said nothing to him! I was appalled to say the least. The second male employee should be fired immediately. As I waited patiently, he must have been on break and overheard our conversation. He approached me from behind, (I did not see him). He said, “MOVE”. That was a direct threat to me directly. I chose to not say anything but it took all I had to not defend myself. I have been a strong supporter and customer for McDonalds for 60 years. Yesterday will be a day I will never forget. It’s sad a company who use to pride itself in customer service, promptly delivery of its orders, and it’s consistent measures of this services has dropped to this level. Someone really needs to look into their current process and chance it back to what got McDonald’s started in the first place. The worst thing wasn’t about me. It was my two customer’s I represented where discarded and had to wait because of some poor choices made by...
Read moreMcDonald's is a fast-food chain that is known for its quick and convenient service. However, my recent experience at a McDonald's location left me feeling disappointed and frustrated. I visited the restaurant during the lunch rush, and the line was long and slow-moving. When I finally reached the front of the line, I placed my order and paid for my meal. However, when I received my food, I noticed that my order was incorrect. I had ordered a Big Mac meal with a medium fries and a Coke, but I received a Quarter Pounder meal with a small fries and a Sprite. I approached the counter to inform the staff of the mistake, but I was met with indifference and apathy. The employee who had taken my order simply shrugged and told me that they were busy and had made a mistake. They offered to correct the order, but I would have to wait in line again and start the process over. Feeling frustrated and hungry, I decided to accept the incorrect order and eat my meal. However, the food was cold and stale, and the fries were soggy and unappetizing. I felt like I had wasted my money on a subpar meal and a poor customer service experience. In my opinion, McDonald's needs to improve its customer service and quality control. Mistakes happen, but it is important for the staff to take responsibility and make an effort to correct them. Additionally, the food should be fresh and hot, especially during peak hours when the restaurant is busy. Overall, my bad experience at McDonald's has left me with a negative impression of the brand. While I may visit the restaurant again in the future, I will be more cautious and attentive to ensure that my order is correct and the food is of...
Read moreI ordered 6 Happy Meals and four of them were chicken nuggets. I was asked which sauce I would like I said sweet and sour but only one package of sweet and sour made it in one box out of four. In addition to that I was given 5 Happy Meals when I received the food and had to prove, bargain and chat to get my 6th Meal which was stated on my receipt. He gave me six drinks, four in a cup holder then asked me would I like another cup holder for the last 2. Six kids meal drinks would mean that I need 6 kids meals. Lastly I ordered a McDouble and added lettuce and Mac sauce to it. When I got home I found a child size kid meal Burger wrapped in a McDouble paper with Mac sauce and lettuce on it. That means that an employee took a kid meal burger knowing it was not a McDouble add the things I requested and wrapped it up to pass it up off as a McDouble. When I call back to speak to someone she offered to give me a actual McDouble. Which I found odd because I ordered and paid for one so youre "giving" me anything you owe me what I paid for. I then explained the sauce situation with the six kids meals and she giggles in my face and says I had a lot going on I'm the one that did that sorry. I appreciate her being honest but that was unprofessional. If I could call in to the customer service line from the receipt I would but the gentleman that gave me my food took my receipt to prove that he give me my 6th kids meal and I never got it back. I don't think I'll be back to...
