The food was hot, but what a pain in the butt. Took about half an hour to get my order between the rude manager and the mobile app issues.
I ordered from the McDonalds app. Since I was ordering four 20 pc Nuggets I wanted to give them a head start making them. When I got there they had no idea what I was talking about, and had me pull to the second window. The lady there couldn’t find the order. She was snippy with me like it was my fault. She kept asking questions, and before I could answer she would cut me off. I suggested that if it didn’t go through maybe we should just have them enter the order. Then she grabs my phone and starts messing with it. I wouldn’t mind as much, but she kept telling me I didn’t make the order..... even after I showed her the confirmation. I again suggested if the mobile order isn’t working maybe we should just ring in the order there.
She then punched some buttons, told me it hadn’t gone through, and to press the pay button and put in a card number. I took the phone and pushed the pay button and it showed a message saying there was a network error. I showed it to her, and asked if she should just ring it up. She took the phone and Sprint network then reconnected so the pay screen came back. By then she had taken my phone again, and then just said to give her my card and she would do it. All this time people are lining up, she is being rude and everything I say she would cut me off, and I’m still suggesting that we just ring it up if the mobile order didn’t go through.
She takes my card, rings the order, and then tells me to pull up just past the red posts. I caught up on Facebook while I waited 19 minutes for the order, and when she comes out there is no appology. She just tells me how lucky I am she brought me the order because she isn’t supposed to go out there.
I think maybe she forgot, I AM THE CUSTOMER. I don’t care how important she is in the kitchen, but I am the customer and should be able to expect a little respect. Especially when their mobile system didn’t work so I was in line about half an hour by the time we got the order done and I wait another 20 minutes for food. Once again an employee forgot that they may be management at the store, but the customer is not their subordinate. We are the reason they have jobs.
In short. Don’t expect the mobile app to work, and don’t expect them to care if there is a mistake. I have heard a lot about how we need higher wages in fast food. I suggest we need automation. Take rude people out of...
Read moreWe went into this restauRant to order dinner because you could not understand the person taking the order on the intercom. Get inside and she is MANAGEMENT she is degrading one of the employees making our food. Now I have work.in food service for over 30 years and now you don't poff the cooks. We order and my youngest wants a might kids meal chicken nugget. It used to come with 6 nuggets now it comes with 4. When I asked why she said because kids are far and we are trying to make sure they stay healthy. But if you want 6 we have to charge you 2dollars more. So now to get what she likes I have to pay more then I paid for my meal and she is 4 and getting less food then me. So I get her the might kid meal mcdouble without cheese because she doesn't like cheese on her sandwich and they say that isn't a sandwich they have on menu. I don't care leave cheese off. We finally get out good and it is wrong. And when I try to point it out to them the MAnager that was telling her cook starts lecturing the young man who took our order and doesn't pay me any notice so I get py and tell her out good is wrong and slide the bag crossed the counter. She looks at me and reprimands me for getting upset. Now normally I would say something smarta** to get but kept my mouth shut because my kids were there and because she was a woman who would have pulled the race card out. Now just so you all know my 2 oldest are white and my 2 youngest are mixed race I have no problem with skin color I do have ever have a problem with people of any race or age or religion not showing respect I don't what anybody does or doesn't do right or wrong you don't raise you Voice or degrade them in front of other people. I will not go to this particular McDonald's for a long time. I am almost tempted to never go to another McDonald's again when did they become the food police for our children. We are supposed to monitor what our children out in their bodies and teach them to eat right and fromk healthy. We don't eat out often and when we do we should not be told our children have to eat the way MCDONALD'S say our have to pay more...
Read moreLooking through past comments it appears as though my complaint about the worst attitude from the miserable woman working the drive thru isn’t uncommon for this location. I’ve never witnessed other employees looking shocked or apologizing profusely for the way someone they work with is allowed to talk to customers. I left the drive thru in tears just trying to get lunch for my kiddos. Everything was fine until after I paid for my order. The woman at the second window, must have already cleared my order when I pulled up and moved on to the next. When she gave me the wrong drink and tried to close the window behind her, I kindly explained that the order she tried to give me wasn’t mine and she got upset with me. We went back and forth for a few minutes with her saying that I was wrong. I had to convince 3 employees of my order even with a receipt in my hand just to get past the rudeness of the woman helping me. It did make sense once the manager came up, with a very similar tone and attitude but not necessarily towards me, why this employee may continue to get away with this behavior. I don’t expect anything from leaving this review but if nothing else, I just hope to give my experience so that someone else, just passing through, might choose to go somewhere else. There are other places surrounding this location and even other McDonald’s that at least pretend to treat you like a person on your...
