Spokes Coffee|Cafe — Restaurant in Kansas City

Spokes was a lifesaver during my recent trip to Kansas City. Eric and the rest of the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

The cafe itself is an absolute gem. It has a comfortable, inviting atmosphere that gave me the perfect place to hang out while I waited on my hotel room to be ready. Whether you choose a cozy armchair or a spot at a spacious table, there's a perfect place to relax and get some work done.

But the true stars of the show were the coffee and the food. My Americano was rich, flavorful, and brewed to perfection. Exactly what I needed to kickstart my day. And let's not forget the incredible club sandwich!

I watched this guy pour my coffee, get back to my office and it’s cold. Having to microwave “fresh coffee” immediately after it’s poured is crazy. For a 4 dollar drip coffee you’d hope it would be hot?

Not to mention if you want to modify a burrito by saying light potato’s, they don’t let you make any modifications. Just a lazy establishment. So you get a burrito full of potato’s with hardly any sausage and egg, and a cold coffee to wash it down. Then they have the audacity to ask for tip. This place used to be a lot better when it was a Scooters....

Missing scooters coffee downtown!!! Terrible drink! Asked for a non cow-milk drink Carmel frappe. First he began with ice cream milk, when he told me that he was making it with ice cream… next he had his hands all over the top of my cup-unsanitary! Then I asked for a different milk when I saw him making it with ice cream milk- he was not happy about having to change.
