First time visit to this pretty little venue, with 6 buddies.

The interior was smaller than I imagined but super high ceiling and characteristic architecture made it feel roomier than it actually was. The seats are comfy but just like Uptown, this theater also has limited leg room between rows. You'd be uncomfortable if you had to sit for hours. I know I was. There are no cupholders to hold drinks or anywhere to set things down. I'd encourage very little hand-carrying items when visiting the venue.

Went to Ninja Sex Party and they were amazing and hilarious 😂 as expected. They have evolved beautifully and it's now a more "classier" sounding bunch of ridiculous lyrics. They still love the fans and show tremendous appreciation verbally and are also extremely comfy with having a two way interaction with audience periodically. No mobiles were allowed to flim during the show but the band made room for that at the end. Brilliant reason was that they wanted to really feel connected to the audience.

Will visit venue again. Easy paid parking ( -+ $10) for undercover garage. Bathrooms are easy accessible, there are balcony seats and concession stands. There is also a box office area if you didn't purchase...

This is a great venue! It offers a smaller auditorium than the Sprint Center, Kauffman Center, etc. that feels very intimate and eclectic. The theatre is older, but has a newer/refreshed lobby with modernized bathrooms. Overall, it is just a great place to catch a performance. The staff is friendly and welcoming and there is ample parking in the garage immediately adjacent to the theatre.

The only issue with parking is there is not a handicap accessible way to enter/exit the parking garage without using the entrance/exit for vehicles. This creates a possible safety concern. The walkway out of the garage leads to stairs outside the door. However, I have not had any issues with cars not yielding to pedestrian/handicap traffic. And, the garage is not owned by the theatre so I imagine there is not much more the theatre can do to make it more accessible.

Overall, I would highly...

A big thank you to the incredible team at Folly Theatre. This was my first time going, and I took my toddler to the Beauty and the Beast ballet. I made a mistake and purchased tickets that were way too high up/steep for me as I have a terrible fear of heights. Totally my fault, I thought I could handle it, but couldn’t, so I was just going to watch the stream in the lobby. Shoutout to Regina and Mike for seating us in the lower level so we could enjoy the show. They didn’t have to, again, it was my fault I purchased seats that won’t appropriate for me, but they made sure we had a great time. I appreciate it and now I know where to purchase seats in the future. Thank you also for making the arts accessible...

My husband and I had not been in this theater for many years and were thrilled to see the beautiful condition it is in. They have worked very hard to make the theater conducive to today’s patronage while keeping its original charm. We enjoyed reading up on the history of the theater, and are so thankful that it still exists. The acoustics were perfect! We watched a performance from the front row of the lower balcony, and felt like we were almost part of the performance. There were plenty of staff on hand and there was some bar service. All in all an excellent experience that we can’t wait to repeat.

Way to complete botch a VIP presale. Logged in to get my Letterkenny live tickets only to be priced gouged with an exorbitant $162 fee per ticket on what was already a $225 package. Apparently this was an error. So the folks who prepared and were on time for the presale and willing to spend a thousand dollars missed out. I was VIP at the show in Chicago this summer. So much for the present I was buying for my friends. You are 5 blocks from my flat. Bad form. Doubt you can even get close to making it right.
