I went through drive through after looking for parking spot. Took about 35 minutes from time I got in line and ordered through an employee with a tablet. It was 12:30 on 6-10-22. I’m sure they’ll get things going smoother once they get used to the set up. I have never had Wataburger before but did enjoy how it looked and tasted like a home made burger. I got the double hold the onions and mustard added the ketchup which I thought tasted sweet?? The patties were cooked perfectly, the toppings were fresh but the ketchup gave it a taste I wish I decided on mayo instead. The overall sandwich was good but not THE best burger I ever ate which happened to be from a food truck!! UPDATE!!!!!!!!!! I went here on 6-18-23 at about 11pm. Went inside as drive thru was backed up. The place was packed. I ordered a double patty melt. After waiting about half hour I received a regular double burger instead. I told the girl that brought me my burger that’s not what I ordered. Saw receipt and employee that entered my order did it wrong. They threw away my sandwich and offered to make a new one. I walked up to manager on my way to bathroom to tell him that was my order, he informed me they will get it out to me but did not offer an apology. After washing my hands in bathroom the hand towel dispenser, which is hand crank, food safety issue, instead of motion sensors was either jammed with paper or most likely out of paper since they were short on help. The trash bins were really full so obviously not getting attended to. When I came out with dripping wet hands I informed manager the towel dispenser needed attended to cause it did not work or needed filled. Once again no apology given. I told him now I’m double upset and sat down to wait for my food. After eating I walked out and saw the employee that was now off her shift that entered the wrong food on my ticket. She asked if I ever got my sandwich. I told her about the mistake but I said yes I received the correct food. That’s when I received the only apology. It should have come from the manager twice for wrong food plus dispenser not working or offered a discount or free food. That’s not customer care at all. This morning I called to complain about the issues and once again, no apology for service but instead got negative responses about the issues of no motion sensor on hand towel dispenser. Told me owners will not get anything like that instead of offering my suggestion to upper management. Then tonight I received a call from this establishment but was told it auto redialed but not intended to call me. But this manager asked what my complaint was after explaining why I called this morning. The phone went dead during my explanation then would not take my calls after trying to redial. This is totally uncalled for. I’m calling FDA over the dispensing issue plus contacting corporate for the attitude I got calling to complain this morning and was told owner will not do anything about getting a sensor operated towel dispenser. Working for a food production company I worked at 16 yrs, I received intensive food safety training on an annual basis. I’m well aware of the food safety items available they can offer customers and especially employees!! I will tell anyone I’m associated with to steer clear of this place or it’s affiliated locations since customer care is not their priority. Never again am I giving this place...
Read moreOn 12/5 I went to this joint for some fries and some of their chili, I've heard so much about so I wanted to try. The young boy at the counter had no idea how to ring up a side order of chili and told me that he didn't think they did that. I the spoke with the manager who corrected the issue and gave me a nice size little bowl, a single portion but enough to get semi satisfied. Fast forward to 12/7 I returned to this joint for more of the chilli so this time I ordered several side orders. The time that I went was around 10:30a I asked the girl at the counter were the still on break fast, the nice girl said they were on split screen which mean they were selling both breakfast and lunch, I assume they are ready and prepared to sell both, however; I hear loud chatter in the kitchen area " chili are you sure they want chili, nothing else" the order took a while to get the girl at the counter said they had to make the chili. When I finally received the order the bag felt very light. I opened one of the containers and realized they filled all of my six side order of 1/4 container full. I went to the counter and explained the I felt cheated because two days easier and this container was full. I would like to have my money back. An older rough looking woman came from the back with a head piece on and wanted to know what was wrong, so I explained the situation and requested the return of my money. The rough looking woman huffed and puffed and wanted to know who would give me a full container, I stated to her the manager. She told me that manager is always messing up doing what he wants, he is no longer on that shift" she then said to me " well I'll fill them this time, but just know going forward this is the normal size for side order. I told the women there will be. O going forward, last time at his place and do not recommend. They are nowhere near the joints in Houston. That night I had my wife try the chili and she kept spitting something hard out of her mouth, then she almost choked on a chunk of paper or some of the sorts. She threw up from the ordeal so of course I will not eat any of it. Either they got mad I wanted my money back and put stuff in my food or they cooked it fast leaving debris in my food. Read morePlaced an order through the Whataburger app, went inside to pick up my order to dine in. A lady with red hair had our food on a tray she was dropping my French fries on the floor. I said ma'am you dropping my fries on the floor she handed my Husband the tray & walked off. We sat down at the booth the fries were cold I took my tray to the counter to inform them that the fries were cold the cashier took the tray with our burgers & fries on it I asked the cashier could I have my burgers back the staff looked at me laughed did not give me my burgers back. I don't know where the Manger was but the whole staff just laughing I didn't see anything funny at all. My tray went through 3 workers hands before giving it to me I am standing at the counter witnessing all of this take place I was floored. I paid $40 for 2 meals with shakes I am expecting my food to be fresh & hot. My whataburger that I requested with no mustard & pickles extra onion & mayo was incorrect they placed it on my Husband burger there was no stickers on the burgers that most Whataburgers provide when it's a specialty burger. I had to take my shake back to the counter the cup was half filled with chocolate shake the only reason we decided to stay I had paid for the food through the Whataburger app will never do that again. This is the most unprofessional & ghetto Whataburger in Kansas. I would not recommend this Whataburger the whole staff are unprofessional. One worker given out free food to her friends in the lobby but the paying customers get lousy food & service. If you want Whataburger go the extra mile to the next one so you won't be...
