First of all I made a reservation for a large group and asked in advance if food could be cooked separate for allergies before going. I was taking out the group who event planned for my wedding for free as a thank you. I have been looking forward to going here for so long but now idk if I will ever go back when my life is at risk. Server looked annoyed from the beginning. I let her no upfront I have a severe mushroom and egg allergy if she could please notify whoever if prepping our food. We ordered drinks which one ordered 1 glass to share with the other woman who came (weird I know) she brought out the wrong wine then annoyed when they asked for it to be what they ordered. She did not care then and I didn't know their ages but after we ate one was gossiping she was only 16 and can't believe they didn't get carded. I even was shocked she didn't ask for ID because they looked young one was of age the other not. Then she brought out soup and it has mushroom. I told her I can't eat this can I have one without mushroom or is it cooked with mushrooms already. She rolled her eyes and walked away so I want sure if I was getting anew one. She did come back with one but it has tiny shavings of mushrooms so I didn't feel safe asking for another because she either picked out mushrooms or purposefully out tiny shavings of mushroom in it. Then the cook came out and I thought mine was being made separate but he heard me g to my group about the mushrooms and said ok you can't have mushroom? As of the server didn't tell him. I told him my allergies so he said he would cook the mushrooms last separately. But then vegan to make fried rice so because it has eggs he had to thoroughly crappie clean the grill before cooking out for. I don't understand why allergy dishes aren't prepped or prepared separate or in the back. So I couldn't eat my soup and then we never got refills on our drinks and she put my life at risk both with obviously not informing the cook like I asked and bringing me 2 soups both with mushrooms seemingly on purpose. Then she added gratuity on the check. We had 9 people but I didn't feel she deserved the tip even at 18% but I was so upset I just wanted to leave. Our check was almost $352 $50+ was tip. The cook I wanted to tip but she didnt deserve it. I tried looking online to file a complaint but there is nowhere to do it. I would never recommend anyone with an allergy to go here if there is not better standards for preparing dishes for people...
   Read moreOur visit was the 24th of February, we were celebrating my fatherâs 62nd birthday. For the past four years itâs been his birthday wish to have all our family at the hibachi table and nearly every visit, we have an outstanding time.
Unfortunately for everyone, this was a very disappointing visit. We were sat in the section with four grills that is very cramped⌠which, we understand trying to fit as many customers as fire code will allow, but it was a bit of a pain to continually have to stand up to let the staff by. This section of the restaurant was freezing⌠the other grillâs guest never took their coats off either.
The most disturbing part was when the lady that took our drink orders came back literally chewing food. I was the first of our group of ten to be handed salad/soup and I said, âwait⌠are you chewing food?!â she looked at me in a sheepish grin like she had just been caught⌠and cleverly did not answer, because, she had FOOD IN HER MOUTH. Unacceptable.
She also forgot to bring me a restaurant menu which caused us to order in a rushed panic because we did not have time to look it over.
During dinner, my daughter, a seven-year-old needed to use the restroom so I walked her there. While we passed the kitchen, I heard someone back there curse with word âS**t.â A curtain as a door failed to muffle that sound as we passed by.
While were near the end of the dinner, the staff brought out my fatherâs ice cream before he had completed his dinner. *The drink order lady clearly trying to be overly nice after being caught eating food while handling ours. We felt it came out too early, normally that wouldnât be worth mentioning butâŚ
Shortly after the desert was delivered, an older Asian gentleman, hovered⌠watching us as if urging us to leave. This did not stop. We felt as if we were being rushed out. It was uncomfortable to say the least. As we began to gather our things, staff rushed over and started re-setting our grill⌠mixed with at this point a lady (I think she was working the host stand) also now hovering with a âget out of our restaurantâ vibe.
As with most weekends it was busy, but the grill next us was empty for the last 10-15 minutes⌠and the other side of the restaurant with plenty of grills wasnât even being used.
Out of the many times we have visited Stix, there has never been this level of disappointment.

   Read moreI have visited here once before and had a great experience. However Saturday Aug 21, 2021 was HORRIBLE. We had a 8pm reservation. Stood there for a good 5 minutes before someone came to check us in. Then we had to wait for our whole party to show up before they would seat us, they were walking from their car. This resulted in waiting a good 10/15minutes after the last people arrived, which was like a minute later. Once we were seated, with 2 others (we were a group of 6 adults and 2 kids), we noticed there were dirty dishes still on the grill and rice all over the table. The other guy asked the person cleaning if our table had been cleaned. He replied yes or we would not have seated you there. Guy says ok well there are still dirty dishes and rice. Worker goes where? So the guy points it out. Worker cleans it off and say is it good enough for you now?. Guy immediately asked for the manager. Worker says he is busy right now bro. Guy gets up and says I will find him my self. Mind you this whole time, a good 15 min we have not gotten any drinks, not even water. Guy goes and talks to manager I guess. Manager never comes and apologized to the group despite all of us being involved. Worker came and said sorry... But it seem forced.Finally order drinks and some order appetizers. Get those in a decent time, except our friends who's chicken lettuce wraps are missing. Place our orders, soup and salad come out still no chicken wraps. They asked and waitress goes oh let me check. Brings them out after chief has already gotten the rice cooked and served they were lukewarm. We think she forgot. Chief does a great job and food was pretty good. Chicken was a bit dry. As soon as the chief was done cooking and still cleaning up, waitress asks if we want a box. We literally just got all of our food! She also had a very hard time taking our orders, had to show her the menu for her to understand.We are finishing our meal and chatting and they start closing down. They place chairs on the tables with CLEAN DISHES ON THE TABLE. We probably will never go back or ask for them to clean the table and clean dishes...
