My previous visit was much more pleasant and welcoming than this one, everything was just fine during our shopping experience. My mom and I were finding some matching wallets for some purses she had bought a few months prior for some friends of hers. I understand that we weren’t the most elegantly dressed customers there, but nothing really excuses the way one of the retail workers treated my mother when she was speaking to her in an accent. My mother was just slightly confused at something another retail worker had told both me and her at separate times while we were in the store (in regards to some time of additional 20% discount that was made on top of the 70% and extra 20% when two wallets were bought together). If it was a misunderstanding that is totally fine, but that the retail worker, Amber kept giving my mom dirty looks and a complete show of attitude in front of other customers and workers - was unquestionably not acceptable. The very least that could have been given was patience but not even the slightest was seen. Overall Amber really ruined my impression of the store, my mom may be Asian and she may have difficulty speaking English but she understands and CAN speak it. Even with me helping her, Amber continued to be rude and give an attitude.    Read moreI was a customer today, excited to get out the house on my day off & do some shopping. I went in to the store with my 1 year old in the stroller & with my husband. I was walking around looking at everything so I can decide what to buy. I was standing by the womens wallet section & there was a security guard close by. & an employee, which I am sure was the manager there says to the security guard to keep an eye on me. & points to me. She then gets close to me, & I really thought she was just being a nice person, she says in a very friendly, but suspicious way “oh who do we got there” referring to my baby in the stroller. I uncovered him bc the car seat was halfway covered with the blanket & I smile at her. I continued to look around, & finally went to pay for my wallet. I hadn’t really caught on to what she had said or did until I mentioned it to my husband after leaving the store. & he said that he seen when she pointed at me & said that to the security guard. It really upset me because, I was doing the same thing that every other person there was doing. Looking around, being a customer but she only pointed me out. & what upset me the most is that I really thought she just wanted to see my son but used that as an excuse to see if I was stealing & putting things in the car seat.    Read moreI have shopped at this location several times and I am typically happy with the service I receive. Last Sunday I stopped in at about 4:30 with additional shopping to do at Legends, so I was quickly in and out after finding the bag, wallet, and sunglasses I wanted. Once I got home I noticed that the front of the purse had a noticeable scratch, so I put everything back in the bag in hopes of exchanging the bag the following weekend. Fast forward to today... from the moment I pulled the purse out of the bag I was made to feel uncomfortable. The girl at the register eyed the bag, almost acting as if there was no scratch. She then called a manager, who asked if I had used the bag, despite the tags being still on it, the wallet and the sunglasses were all still inside, accompanied by the receipt. They asked if I had tried to buff it and then did I think it happened in the store. A second manager was called over to look at it. At the end of the day, the bag and accessories had all the tags, was purchased just under a week ago and I was asking to exchange, not return. I worked retail management for years and continue to work in customer service. I am disappointed with the service I received and was honestly about to just return the whole purchase.
