We recently celebrated my mom’s birthday at Gloria’s, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment I called to make a reservation for our large group, Jennifer was incredibly helpful. She made sure to follow up with details about our seating arrangement, letting us know that for a group over 15, we’d be at separate tables but still close together. Her attention to detail set a great tone even before we arrived.

On the day of our celebration, we had a few unexpected guests join last minute, but the staff at Gloria’s didn’t miss a beat. They were so accommodating and kind, ensuring that everyone had a spot. Our waiter, Jorge, was fantastic! Handling a large group can be challenging, but he was incredibly patient, taking orders quickly and accurately. The drinks arrived first, and the house margaritas were not only delicious but also perfectly strong—just what we needed to kick off the night!

The food was amazing, and every single person left happy with their choice. The highlight was when they brought out a birthday flan for my mom. It was such a thoughtful touch that made her night extra special. Checks were split flawlessly, which is no small feat with a big group, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Gloria’s has become our go-to spot for family events and celebrations, and this experience reminded us why. Thank you, Gloria’s, for making my mom’s birthday celebration so memorable!

My family and I have been dying to go to Gloria's in Katy since they opened and we finally had a chance to go today in honor of my sister's birthday! All of the food was amazing and presented beautifully. My tropical drink, Coco Beach, was strong and hit the spot. The entire table devoured their food happily, including the kids. We are Salvadoran and it was great to have upscale Salvadoran food so nearby. Even the birthday flan was so creamy and sweet. The restaurant was clean and spacious, with misters going on the patio in this Memorial Day weekend heat.

But I am really writing today because of the impeccable service we had. My son became sick suddenly during our meal, not because of the food, but because he got a piece of food stuck in his throat. Toddlers, smh. Lol He got sick all over himself, the floor and the table. He is fine, but it was probably the most mortifying dining experience of my life. I felt terrible for those around us. But our waitress Victoria, the lovely manager and a whole troop of workers told us not to worry and cleaned everything up while I was cleaning up my son in the bathroom. I was so thankful for each and every one of them, tipped well and left a kind note. Thank you to the manager and staff at Gloria's for the unbelievably exceptional service, food and kindness. I was looking for a new restaurant in the Katy area a few weeks back and I was also in the mood for TexMex. We have lots of restaurants that serve this type of food, but I wanted something new to visit and a quick check of different online sources led me to Gloria’s Latin Cuisine.

This location in Katy is one of the newer ones for this chain restaurant. It certainly has a fresh, new look and the inside is contemporary. The seating consists of booths and tables and there are both hightop and low tables, for your preference. There are stools right next to the bar also, plus outdoor seating for those who prefer it. There are vases, some paintings, and plants to make it look nice, but it’s not cluttered like some restaurants.

This is a Latin restaurant and there is a good deal of food that is TexMex, which is what I was looking for. The menu has such options as tacos, enchiladas, fajitas, and more, plus there are several seafood options. The desserts are several and the kids have a menu of their own. If you like wine, you will like the large selection and there are lots of specialty cocktails. The one area that is lacking is beer. There are only a few basic brews on tap, which I would like to see improved in the future.

I have tried a few foods at Gloria’s Latin Cuisine and I have found most of the food good, but not necessarily exceptional and it doesn’t match some of the better TexMex in the area. It’s still good overall, just not the type of food that carries the wow factor. There are some good specialty drinks, however, so it makes a good choice if you’re wanting simple meal and a quick cocktail. Choosing a menu item can take effort, and that is because the menu is quite extensive. The service here is okay, but not the best. However, they are still newer so this could improve quickly.

TexMex is a food favorite of mine. Gloria’s Latin Cuisine is a good choice for TexMex overall. There are other TexMex and Mexican restaurants that I like better, but this is a good place overall with a nice, comfortable interior that makes you...
