Concern Regarding Employee’s Rude Behavior to my 4 year old son!
I am writing to bring to your attention an unfortunate experience my family and I had at your establishment tonight just before closing.
During our visit, my 4-year-old son was a bit out of control, as young children sometimes are. An employee approached us and, in a very rude manner, informed me that my son could not behave that way. This not only embarrassed me but also seemed to encourage other customers to direct rude comments towards my son, despite the fact that he was not bothering anyone directly.
I understand that managing a public space can be challenging, and maintaining a pleasant environment for all customers is important. However, the manner in which this employee handled the situation was far from appropriate. A little understanding and kindness can go a long way, especially when dealing with young children.
I hope you can address this matter with your staff to ensure that future interactions are handled with more tact and empathy. We have enjoyed visiting your parlor in the past, and I hope we can continue to do so under more positive...
Read moreWe stopped here after my daughter’s doctor appointment. We stopped on Monday May 12 at 4:05 pm. There was only one young lady at the front and she was crushing waffle cones towards the back. She saw us come in (we were the only customers) and it took close to 4 min for her to actually come up to the front and when she did, she didn’t say anything, just stared at us. I said “hello” and asked for what I wanted. She only asked for the size. She got us our two ice creams with very little interaction and never said thank you. It was by far the worst experience. Overall, the ice creams continues to taste great. The area can use some improvements as there aren’t many places to sit and it feels like your walking in a warehouse and with staff with that type of attitude, it makes the whole atmosphere much worse. Walked in with my husband , sees a young gentlemen leaning on the counter up front makes eye contact with us while crossing his arms in front of him and does not say anything. When i was ready to order i walked up to him still without a word from him i just tell him what i wanted. As he’s preparing my order another gentlemen from the back room walks out to help, yet no greetings what so ever and just stares at my husband as he waits for him To tell him his order. While we’re waiting for our ice cream, a family walks in and a young lady comes out from the back room. Yet to my surprise there was no greetings from her either. I personally work in the industry so i know how important it is to greet your customers when they walk in the door and thank them for their business.
