My group and I visited Los Perez tonight, just about an hour ago, to celebrate a birthday with a party of 10. Our evening started off on a fantastic note—we had been there for some time, enjoying the ambiance, connecting with the staff, and even buying a round of their delicious drinks for the table. We were there with plenty of other guests, and there had been no issues.
That is, until a single couple arrived and immediately complained to the manager about our ‘noise.’ Despite the clear majority of patrons—including business owners like ourselves—having no complaints, the owner quickly sided with the two late arrivals and asked us to lower our voices to accommodate them. This was not only disappointing but also felt disrespectful, especially given that we were there first and were simply celebrating in a courteous manner. For a restaurant to cater so heavily to the preferences of a single couple, while disregarding a larger party that had come ready to enjoy the evening, shows an unfortunate lack of judgment in guest relations.
As business owners looking for a new go-to spot, our experience tonight was genuinely hurtful. By choosing to prioritize the comfort of two over ten, Los Perez lost the potential business of a group of professionals who are always looking to bring their gatherings and clients to new places. It’s a real shame that this was the response to a group eager to support the restaurant.
That said, I do want to recognize our server, Manuel, who remained exceptional throughout the evening. His attentive and professional service stood out, even when management made it clear they did not value our presence.
While Los Perez may have great drinks and a friendly staff, their approach to guest relations showed a clear misstep in valuing their patrons. I hope they take this as a learning opportunity to create a more balanced and welcoming environment...
Read moreI wanted to give 4.5 stars but that's not an option. Our first time here, so going to give our thoughts on everything we had.
Both salsas are ok but could be better, neither was very spicy. My wife ordered the Fajita Jalapenos, she liked them, I didn't like the way they were cooked. I think if they were cooked on a grill or in an oven they would be good, but deep fried just didn't work for me. Also got the Queso Blanco, it was good and tasty.
Main dishes, I had a crispy taco, guacamole salad, and two beef enchiladas. The taco was good but the shell got soft really fast. The guacamole was fresh and good. It is hard to find good Tex Mex beef enchiladas, and these were good. They were just a tad too salty, otherwise very good. The wife had beef fajitas and some shrimp, she really enjoyed both, I tried the fajita meat and it was very tender. My son had a fajita taco and he said the same about the fajita meat but also said the tortilla was the best he has had in awhile.
The restaurant was crowded and I think they could use more staff, at least during busy hours.
Overall we enjoyed it and will be back to try some...
Read moreMy husband, child, and I walked over to this restaurant to eat and kill some time while our car was being worked on. We order 2 appetizers for our family to share. The FULL Nachos plate had maybe 10-15 chips on it. I honestly thought they accidentally brought out the half order. They were super bland, way too much refried beans on it which made them super soggy. We also ordered an appetizer dish called D.D.K which came with Fried Jalapenos, Beef Quesadilla, and Mini Chimichangas. Immediatley I noticed the fried jalapeños were the frozen ones you can get at the store. Bit into them, I was correct. The Chimichangas were so plain and bland, and the one thing I figured no where could mess up, the quesadilla, was awful as well! Honestly all the food we had tasted microwaved or previously frozen. The only good thing was the Horchata. Our bill was $41 and was the worst $41 we’ve ever spent. Besides the horchata, I could justify spending $10 on what we had there, otherwise, the price for THAT lack of quality is insane. Deff not going back. Laughable...
