First time trying Culver’s today. Honestly, I’d never even heard of them before, but one just opened here in Katy, so I thought I’d give it a try.
Customer Service: Since it was my first visit, I had a few questions. The young guy at the window seemed a bit annoyed and even answered me with some sarcasm. That left a bad taste in my mouth because my questions were sincere — I was just trying to figure things out as a first-time customer.
To be fair, when I pulled up, I noticed he looked overwhelmed. He was taking orders, processing payments, and making drinks all at once. That’s too much for one person to juggle. He should really be focusing on orders and payments only (like at In-N-Out or McDonald’s). Still, he never smiled, made eye contact, or said thank you — and there’s really no excuse for that in customer service. I honestly wonder how Chick-fil-A manages to get their whole team to be so consistently friendly when other chains seem to struggle so much with it.
Food: I ordered a “create your own” single burger with grilled onions and ketchup — a simple way to test a new spot. Hard to mess up, right? And yet, they did. There was no ketchup. Not sure how you forget ketchup when it’s one of only two toppings, but here we are. I ended up driving home just to add my own.
That said, the burger itself was surprisingly good — juicy, flavorful, and cooked well. High marks for that. I also tried the butter pecan frozen custard. It was solid, though not quite as good as Andy’s down the street. Still, if you don’t feel like making two stops, it does the job.
Overall: I’m glad I gave the new place a shot. The food shows promise, and I’ll probably give them another try once they’ve worked out the...
Read moreI am extremely disappointed with the service I received during my recent visit to Culver’s. I placed a large order, taking my time to ensure I got everything my family wanted, only to get home and discover several items were missing. Frustrated, I immediately called the store to address the issue, only to be put on hold for over five minutes by the manager, Deve. She didn’t once check back in to update me or confirm she was still working on my issue. When I called again to follow up, I had to point out that Deve never returned to the line, and instead of apologizing or showing concern, she became rude and dismissive. Her attitude only made the situation more frustrating. I mean, how do you forget key items in an order, then fail to provide proper customer service when someone calls to resolve it? This whole experience has left a terrible impression, and I don’t see myself shopping here again. I expect and deserve better, especially when spending hard-earned money on a supposedly reputable business. What should have been a simple fix turned into a frustrating and disappointing ordeal that I won’t...
Read moreI wasn’t impressed. Food was awesome but the service sucked! It’s hard to find good employees I get it but why make people wait so long for “fast food”? This is not correct. And it’s like they barely just opened, but it seems like whoever owns it decided to hand it off to all these teenagers trying to run the show and there is no clear leadership there. I feel bad for them because they all look like chickens with no head running around, but It’s not cool to make someone wait so long for a fast food order. I mean if you know that you are understaffed or overwhelmed at least give people a coupon for like a free fry or a free soda or a free ice cream something so that people are not so upset but to totally disregard their time is not cool! We do not have 30 minutes to wait for our order when someone goes to a drive-through at a fast food restaurant they are assuming that you are going to give them their food right away or promptly but to make someone wait restaurant time for a fast food order is really...
