Very disappointed with this store. I used to be shift supervisor at a Starbucks up in Conroe, and I love the company. I also love the many drinks that they have!
My husband and I moved back to Katy about a year ago. We tried out this Starbucks and the service was forgettable. The drinks were awful because they messed it up. My husband ordered an iced upside down caramel macchiato. The title sounds complex, but it really is not that complicated to make the drink. They forgot the vanilla and it was not upside down. I ordered a chai tea frappucino, and they forgot the chai tea. I got a milk and ice blended together drink. Gross. We thought well, you know what that was just one time. Let's go back and try again several months later. My husband ordered the same thing, and I ordered an iced chai tea instead of a frappucino. Can't go wrong with just tea, milk and ice in a cup. No blender needed. Well, they gave us 2 caramel macchiatos. Both were made incorrectly. Not upside down and again no vanilla. We were very disappointed. But hey, third time is a charm right? We came back a few months ago with our kids. They got my husband's drink (iced caramel macchiato) correct (whoo!), my drink (iced chai) was correct (whoo!), and we should have stopped there. Of course we ordered drinks for our kids. We wanted a double chocolate chip frappucino which is not a coffee base. It is a cream base. They put coffee in it. Fail again. I should really blame myself for going back this past Friday on my way to work. I figured that I could get to work earlier than usual if I don't go to the Starbucks that is near work. They are always crowded in the morning with the rush. This one does not have a rush at 5:30 in the morning. Heck, most stores have more than two people on the floor by 5:30am. This one had two on the floor, and I am sure they may have had one person in the back. I went there to order a chai tea frappucino, and a double chocolate frappucino for my son. You guessed it. They messed up the drink once again. My son's drink was correct, but mine was missing the chai tea. It is part of the title of the drink. Come on!! I refuse to go here ever again. All 4 times have been awful. No thanks! I now understand why they are not as busy as other Starbucks. Barista's need to pay more attention to detail, and take more pride...
Read moreI recently moved to the Katy Area and Generally like Katy.
However the Starbucks on Mason Road's Staff give me a creepy feeling whenever I enter, order, wait for order, and attempt to diffuse their "Concerned" demeanor in engaging in conversation.
Young male with a street name on his badge and long brown curly hair, seems to always act as if He cannot understand my clear and precise language and this morning after a failed attempt in attempting to be-little me through his perceived notion and assumption, started simulating punches towards the machine which heats the bagels and what not.
I am a contributing member of society and not a criminal nor do I associate with anyone who is not trying to achieve something in This Life.
Please re-assure your staff to treat every patron, especially the repeat ones like myself, with respect and dignity, every occasion which presents itself.
I know the job is tough with all the mobile orders as I eluded to that in conversation with Shweta (Really Nice) in an attempt to "Appear" normal.
There is a Constable station right next to the place so I don't understand why the young male's actions would lend Himself to believe after my several visits that I'm some kind of threat or unwanted in this location.
Thank...
Read moreI am not sure if this is a new location or everyone is new but the manager needs to retrain. I have been to several Starbucks and this is the first time I have been so disgusted by Starbucks. This location does not take names or write names on the cups. They are so interested in making drinks that when the drink is ready they place it on the counter and whisper the order which no one can hear over the constant blender and background music. When I asked employee if she is just going to leave the customers drink on the counter for anyone to walk in and take it and walk out, (since the counter is so close to the door) she looked like a deer caught in headlights, which she tried to play off and tried to run away and find something else to do. I have work at Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts and my managers would be down my back if I had done anything like that. Plus they have no Drive thru or signs to notify you that there is a Starbucks...
