Came here because of TikTok, and this place just wasn’t it. First off, the service. It was our first time there, and the girl with glasses and face tattoos had an issue w answering questions. She was in a terrible mood for sure. She was making faces at us the whole time, not friendly or welcoming at all. We brushed it off and just quit asking her stuff and just ordered blind, and stuff that we obviously knew. I ordered 2 burritos for my daughter and I. I asked for no onions, they were both jam packed w onions! I should’ve taken a picture, but I was so upset that we didn’t even bother. We just left. Also, we ordered frijoles charros, and she didn’t even put it on there, we clearly stated they were for our baby. So obviously, he didn’t get to eat and we were not about to get back in that exaggerating long line that takes you 15-20 plus minutes to get to the front! Which is another reason why we left. My husband ordered a torta, which he gave me a bite of because there was no onions on it. Sorry, but that was disgusting. This place is way too overhyped. We came from sugar land to try this place out. All I can say is never again. I honestly feel like that girl purposely made sure that our burritos would be loaded w onions. Fast forward to today, my husband ate his torta, and throughout the day he ate our burritos. I told him not to because something tasted off in his torta. Welp, he didn’t listen, but also he didn’t want $62 of food to go to waste. That’s what we paid, sadly a waste. Well now my poor husband had to call off from work because he has food poisoning! And sadly, off that bite I took, I’m going through the same, but thankfully not badly. What’s more torture, and sorry for the TMI, but these burps! They’re disgusting and being tortured with this through the night and now onto the morning. So if you want to get sick, come on by. LOL. Never again, this place was way...

Absolutely loved the food. They cook everything to order, so it takes a bit to get your food… Worth the wait but, if you’re more on the impatient side; maybe try it out during the lunch hour.. i suspect it’s not as busy as dinner. The line was literally out the door.

They also have beers and margs as beverages to go along with the fresh juices and horchata they offer.

This is a pretty small space as well so, the seating is tight, inside and outside. Hopefully they are able to expand to a bigger place out here very soon.

The biggest con is their pick up and ordering system.. they have a few different people running food and calling names/numbers out over a mic in the corner. Due to the size and amount of patrons, this doesn’t work too well and creates some confusion. For both staff and customers. There’s also no clear direction on which end to order at, so naturally people form a line front of the door… which is on the opposite side of the ordering end.. there are signs up over the counter but, it doesn’t seem very helpful as the cashier had to keep waving people down to her end.

If they won’t be moving anytime soon, a digital order board will work great here. Should alleviate some confusion between staff and customers, while also helping to keep the line moving and your door clear since there seems to be only one...

We had heard great things about this place, and after seeing that their grand opening yesterday we decided to go today (their second day). The wait was long but we were notified beforehand about how long we would be waiting. Therefore, having to wait was no surprise. The service was amazing, the cashier was very very nice and attentive, and so were all the other employees. After waiting for a while, we were approached by one of the managers asking us what our order was cause he had noticed us sitting there for a while (which was no problem at all cause they were doing the best they could to serve everyone as soon as they could). He then goes and checks the status of our order, made sure it was going to be handed to us soon and apologized multiple times for the wait. Going in to the restaurant there we expected to wait a while so it was no issue at all (so be prepared to wait). However, let me tell you, coming from a bordertown ourselves, the tacos were very good! The salsas have an amazing taste and are spicy, and the meat on the tacos is perfectly seasoned as well. Definitely intend on going back, not only for the food but the amazing customer service and attention the...

Food was good. Got a little bit of everything. Frijoles charros, elote, aguas frescas, kids quesadilla with added chicken and French fries, tacos de asada, adobada, chicken, and nopales, beef and chicken quesadillas, and quesabirria tacos with consomé. Everything was good...except the nopales. The tacos come with cebolla, cilantro, limes, guacamole, and a side of radishes and cucumbers. The quesabirria offered the same and pickled onions. They also offer free unseasoned chicharrones as an appetizer...which was nice. The salsas were nothing to write home about. Not spicy, just above not spicy, and little spice were the three options. The place was very busy and quite small. The line of people ordering and waiting to find seating made it very uncomfortable. A family was nice enough to flag my family down to take their table. But there was a rather large gentleman with an oversized backpack that was encroaching our space due to lack of space/seating. This made for an awkward dining experience. It appears business is booming...so hopefully they're considering a larger space.

If you’re searching for the best tacos in Texas, stop looking and head to Tacos Frontera—this place is the real deal! 🌮🔥 The food is absolutely authentic as hell—every bite feels like a trip straight to the heart of Mexico. The flavors are bold, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. But it’s not just the food that stands out—the people here are incredible. The manager and staff? Absolute legends. They treat you like family from the moment you walk in. Friendly, welcoming, and so passionate about what they do, they make the experience unforgettable. You’ll leave Tacos Frontera with a full belly and a huge smile. Texas might be full of great taco spots, but trust me, this one is in a league of its own. If you haven’t been yet, what are you waiting for? Go taste some authentic AF tacos and thank me later! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ #TacosFrontera #BestTacosInTexas #AuthenticTacos #MexicanFoodDoneRight #TacoLovers #TexasFoodies #RealFlavor #SupportLocal #FoodieFavorites #TacosAreLife
