Top of the morning to ya! #diner #breakfast

We were told the wait would be 30 minutes and it ended up being an hour, but is somewhat understandable being a holiday weekend. Upon arriving at our table the floor was littered with used jelly & butter packets, and dirty silverware was in the crumb tray on the booth. The food was OK to good, but very overpriced. The bacon avocado BLT only had two slices of bacon on it and very little avocado, but yet was $15. Similarly, the omelette had very little avocado in it even though there was a $2.50 up charge for adding avocado. Our server was very nice and attentive, however did not pre-bus the table of our empty plates. We noticed none of the servers cleared any tables of empty plates until after the customers left. We will not be back due to the overpriced, average food and sloppy conditions. To be clear, it was not dirty but messy and they can do better cleaning up after the prior customers.

O.M.Gosh! The BEST diner I've been to since I was a kid! These days it seems nearly impossible to find an old school diner (or even new diner) with great food - Lindy's Diner wins the prize in my book! Stepping into this place is like traveling back into time right down to the lil jukeboxes at each booth. The food was great & spot on. The staff, including one of the owners we had the pleasure of chatting with, is ALL about customer service & their experience - made you instantly feel right at home! We are looking forward to our next trip to Keene & having breakfast once again here. Thank you to all the awesome staff for a wonderful service & food you provide! We left feeling so nostalgic &with VERY happy bellies! Looking forward to see you again on our next trip!

We use to love Lindy's and decided to stop in with the new ownership since we hard they had chicken and waffles. Firstly, we sat at the counter. It wasn't overly busy, several empty tables inside. Our waitress took our drink and order and then brought our coffee (3.00) plopped it down and walked away. At this point we had no silverware so we had to wait for the waitress to return 10 minutes later and ask for some. She then took our order. My husband wanted the chicken and waffles ( 18.00), he was offered Honey on top for 2.00 extra. Of course he agreed. I ordered a Greek Scramble (16.00), the waitress asked what bread I'd like and listed them. I chose and English muffin, grilled. Our order came out and the chicken and waffles had the tiniest drizzle of honey, like one line going down the plate as thin as thread. Not worth 2.00 that's for sure. Had the waitress ever checked on us we would have asked where the honey was and maybe for a refill on the coffee. My "Scamble" was an omlette. I don't know if everyone is particular but an omlette Is much different than a scramble. I expected scrambled eggs with the additions not an omlette. My English Muffin that I had requested grilled, was hard as a rock because it had been toasted and then tossed on the grill to stay warm. Again had the waitress ever checked on us we would have said something as it was inedible. Finally the waitress returns just to drop off the bill. The real kicker, we were charged 1.25 for that English Muffin no one could eat. She never told us an English Muffin would be extra when she listed the bread options either. So, very bad experience all the way around. $40.00 for breakfast for 2 people..... we will not return at this point. If you do try the place, I hope your experience is...

This may be Karen of me but I'm still salty about it. I want to start by saying everything about this place was great, this is about the parking. My toddler and I were in Keene (we live 20 mins away and come often) and we usually stop at Mcdonalds for a quick bite at the end of our errands but seeing as how the cost has risen and not the healthiest option I decided to try something new and support a local business instead. They have parking in front of their building which was full and a large lot connected to it. I parked and went in to eat, we weren't but an hour but when I got out there was a parking ticket on my car. I then looked around and noticed they have those pay machines for parking but in the front is the metered. Now I've parked at the court house and paid by meter, I've parked on the main street and paid by meter, the library, any place that there has been a meter I've paid. I wasn't expecting this older town that I frequent to have a system like a big city. It also seemed like the parking ticket person is just waiting next to the lot to give out tickets as other cars around me had them as well. There needs to be larger signage or note on the door as. So to order one meal I shared with my daughter turned into a $15.00 ticket ($4.00 fee to pay online, which I'm not doing) and total of $45.00. I can't find another way to post about the parking here except on here so once I'm done feeling salty about it I'll...

I am so disappointed in the changes at Lindy's Diner. My husband and I ate there today...well, ate what we could. First, we had to sit at the counter. The menus are awkward and large. I can't imagine how someone with motor impairments could even manage it. A table opened up and we wanted to switch seats. The first thing our waitress said was "That's not my table". We switched anyway and she still waited on us. All of the menu items that made Lindy's special are gone. So sad. I ordered a burger and sweet potato fries. My husband got a fish sandwich and fries. After waiting much too long for our food, my fries were cold. The waitress took the plate away and was back about a minute later. Looked like the same pile but maybe nuked. Overcooked, looked awful and tasted awful. The sandwich was adequate. My husband's fish was greasy. His fries were greasy. MY fries were greasy. The tops of the buns were greasy. Horrible experience. The prices for what we got? I would have had a better meal at McDonald's and I hate McDonald's. In good conscience, I could only recommend this new Lindy's...
