More updates: 05/20/2025, We decided to give them yet another chance; however, couldn't have been more disappointed than the last time! Wr arrived at 1841 and ordered the kids meals right a way in addition to French onion soup and wings because everyone knows, wings extra crispy take a bit longer. Soup finally got to the table 40 mins after we sat and needless to say it was cold and the cheese had harden. They replaced it put later tried to say "we discounted you one soup." The wing came out before the kids meal and the kids meal (2 in total) each literally only had 11 fries, yes we counted. The runner was in agreement 11 fries was not acceptable and brought the kids a bowl of fries. We purposely ordered the rest of our meals 10 mins apart from orderimg the wings because again extra crispy wings take longer. Our meals did not arrive to the table for about an hr and a half after we sat. When the meal finally arrived the fried shrimp was room temperature. The replaced it; however, needless to say charged us for two (2) and gave us a 10% off the entire order which was short $2 from what the 35 shrimp cost. When we brought this to the managers attention, his response was, "well I gave you 10% off the entire meal." We were not requesting to have our meal comped but we were not going to pay $2 extra because we were served room temperature food. The poor server was very nice and apologetic stating, "I'm sorry but we are short staff" over and over again. My response to him was, "I appreciate you recognizing you are short staff but what I don't understand is why management continues to seat tables if you do not have the man power to accommodate." And to top it all off both of what seemed to be managers, did not hit the floor till both servers, only one for each side of the resturant, were both slammed, quadrupled + sat. This affirms why we stopped going in the first place, since 2022. Never again, at least not this location!
Update: 3/8/2022, While Fanny is still the BEST (only reason for 3⭐️), management on the other hand has definitely declined! For two weeks in a row, kitchen can't seem to get my orders right. Last week our order was wrong. We accepted it but did bring it to the attention of the server; issue was corrected to say the least but server was disappointed becauee we gave him our opinion on his service and ways to improve. Following week (today). Hubby orders a burger, medium. Burger came to the table and hubby took 2 bites. 1st bite taken and he said "ugh, they over cooked it". He really did not want to send it back after last weeks experiences so he took a 2nd bite which definitely confirmed the burger was well/over done, dried out, and with a hole literally a hole in the middle of the burger; unedible for ones liking. We told our dear Fanny who rushed to the issue to attempt to resolve it. When it was brought to the attention of the kitchen manager her exact response was "yeah they are sending back half eaten". With all due respect, it was not half eaten and why should we have to pay for something we did not order which was clearly a kitchen mistake. The only reason we would ever go back would be Fanny but can't say if that would be anytime in the near future. Come on Ale House, step it up... we have been loyal customers when you were know for "Miller's Ale House, Home of the $5 pitchers".

Read moreWaited 15 monutes for a server to take my order. Over 5 minutes before she brought me my drink. The main problem is that number one, she only had one other table in her section. It was a party of 10. However she looked at my table almost immediately after i sat down so she knew that i was sitting there. She waited 10 minutes to take my order. Once she took my order I was sitting there waiting for my drink. She never brought me my drink because she forgot. I spoke to the manager because she has helped me in the past and she was horrible. In addition, the last time that i went there, i was with my mom, her meal was horrible. Because my meal was ok i gave this place a second chance.
The manager gave excuses. Didnt say sorry didnt say that would speak to the server. He just tried to make my complaint seem unimportant and he scted like i was the last person that he wanted to speak with. I asked the hostess if he was the general manager. She said he was which is despicable. Shame on you alehouse for hiring a moron for a manager.
I doubt that this restaurant will be around for much longer because it is never busy and the servers are horrible. The service wont change because the general manager does not know what good...
