Was there this Saturday and it has been the worst experience. Let me first say that we have eaten at this location at least three times and Dolphin's another three or four. Dolphin's TDB has the best service. The last time I was at Dadeland's location I wasn't happy, I didn't want to come back. This past Saturday we wanted to eat at Cheesecake Factory but there was an hour wait so we just went to TBD. We got there and the only seating available was outside. Our server asked how we liked the meat for no reason because he didn't care. After 10 minutes of waiting one person came outside. We looked inside how they went form table to table bringing the meat and we were left outside waiting. Only a few came by. I like meat well done, I had a thin sliver of well done Churrasco, that is all they had for me. I asked for well done filet mignon and when they finally came over after almost half an hour they brought me five pieces of charcoal (I am not exaggerating, I should have taken a picture). He apologized and said it was left a little too long, A LITTLE TOO LONG! Again, I got charcoal. It was so burned you could have passed this meat as charcoal to cook other meat. Anyway, the server was also bad, basically no service. Since I am a decent human being I left a tip, and we all know how expensive this place is. I paid for four with tip and all about $300. I will never come back to this place. it is way overpriced and you the meat at this point is trash. There are other better and inexpensive places you can go to. The salad bar is always great. The rest of the food is fine. Don't expect good service here. If you want to go to TDB, try Dolphin's location. Or go somewhere else. They are no longer a good restaurant, they really let...

The service here is lacking, a waiter stepped on me while greeting a group of clients that were known to him, and plainly ignored the fact that he did, which was painful to me. He literally stepped on the whole of my foot with his big boot and lost his footing, there was no way he did not notice and ignored the fact that I was even there in all the commotion. The manager also knew the group of people and they sitted them even though there was another party waiting to be seated, and when the other party complained about the fact that they had been there before and waiting they were completely dismissed and kept repeating that they would be seated soon. Their group didn't seem any bigger than the other as they also started using their size as a factor and the customer started to get agitated. This whole time I had to wait for a manager to come and activate a gift card??? And it was atleast 10 to 15 minutes with absolutely nothing going on the front. Why is this a thing a manager giving you a gift card? I had people waiting on me at the mall thinking it would be something taken care at the front desk and an "in and out" transaction. I have to say that the front desk attendants were courteous trying to make small talk as I waited. I got to leave before one of the guys really began to get angry at the poor excuse of party size as the reason why they weren't seated, as it really made no sense. I have to tell you for a place that charges this much for food and include their estimated gratuity for parties bigger than 8 at what a believe to be a median of 20% I would expect their service to reflect that standard....

Deducting 1 star overall because this place needs more waiters. I am not talking about the staff who bring you the meat (there are plenty and they stop by often). We spent a lot of the night waiting for our waiter who was swamped!
It seemed like there were only 2 waiters between the entire dining room (which was mostly full when we went on a Wednesday night), and it made getting refills, paying for checks, asking about desserts, etc. very difficult. When we did receive service, it was great! But we spent about 15 minutes each time we needed something trying to flag him down. Again, this is NOT the fault of the waiter himself since I could see him running himself ragged, but the fault of the management! We also saw the manager walking around to "assist" but he was only around for a few minutes, really did not do too much for us. He cleared some plates, and helped with a drink refill, but ended up getting the wrong drink from him. Spent another 10 minutes flagging down the waiter to fix the manager's mistake. The staff really needs an extra hand. My table was definitely a large group, but we really did spend a long time trying to order dessert and to get our bill.
Besides wait time for your actual waiter, the service for the meat was great! Great quality and taste and we had a great time. Very friendly staff. Not sure if it was a fluke, but prepare ample time in case you experience service...
