If I could rate this 0 stars I would. Let’s begin with the fact that we were a table of 9 to accommodate… the wait time was 30-40 mins and we were ok with waiting given the amount of us. Table of 5 adults and 4 kids. The server was sweet but not too knowledgeable on the plate questions we had. Nonetheless we ordered 1 appetizer, 3 alcoholic beverages and the kids each had their own soft drink. My husband wanted a pink sauce pasta in vodka sauce but not spicy with breaded chicken, she stated the closest to that was the 4 cheese pasta because she would have to see what the computer would do if she put no spicy on the spicy rigatoni vodka pasta. So we went with her suggestion… was not what we wanted but my husband was starving. When they brought my father’s plate and mine, which were 2 dinner combinations: I have the Shrimp Scampi & Steak Diane and my father had the Steak Diane $ Herb Crusted Salmon. His Salmon looked like a slice of sashimi of how tiny it was and there was nothing herb crusted about it lol, the “steak” was 3 diced piece of meat under the mushrooms. To tell you that the size of the plate was only filled by 1/4 is an overstatement, they drizzled a white sauces on the remaining space of where the food should be plated and since he subbed the mash potatoes for asparagus, the plate was more than $31 for that alone. I had the same 3 diced pieces of steak and the shrimp was tiny with tomatoes and garlic and a straight line of mashed potatoes down the middle.
I called the waiter over and then came my moms plate which was the “Carne Asada” - same thing, the plated food was 1/4 of the plate, the diced meat was under STRINGS on onion and green peppers… like how bad is the situation economically for Cheesecake Factory that they want to charge $30 for 3 diced pieces of meat. The waiter was so embarrassed she took the plate before I could ever photograph it, she asked if I wanted anything else, I just asked for the shrimp scampi plate. Before the plate came she said she had called the manager over and the manager passed us 2 times before he even stopped and all he did was ask “so you ordered the shrimp scampi because you didn’t like your combination plate?” And I said yes, actually I’m baffled at how you all want to charge $30 for a plate and serve it only to 25% of its capacity. I told him, we are here to celebrate my kids piano recital success and what a disappointment this has been, we could’ve eaten such a better meal at any other restaurant. The audacity. He responded “ok, I will check on the scampi for you”
Did not apologize about anything, did not comp anything, the bill total was $284 out of which only 2 of the kids ordered food and the rest were soft drinks and the appetizer and the drinks. No one refilled the kids soft drinks, the waiter prior to them bringing my shrimp scampi plate brought my husband a container for his plate which he was no longer interested in eating because it was ice cold by the time my food got there and he was trying to wait for me so I wouldn’t be eating alone.
We will not be retuning. We have officially crossed off The Cheesecake Factory as an option to dine out over the weekends. Check out Cucina Moderna on Miramar Pkwy and Red Road for a real plate of food, satisfying and delectable and you won’t even spend a fraction of what we spent tonight. This was trash, we literally just flushed our hard earned money down the drain on...
Read moreTonight while at the Cheesecake Factory we had a bad experience. We had a reservation and was seated immediately. The first waiter was very pleasant and courteous. We ordered our drinks and the waiter brought them out with no problem. He also brought out their famous bread. We ordered our food at that moment. Everything was going well until my husband spotted a bug crawling on the seat I was sitting on. I moved to his seat while he went to inform someone at the host counter. One of the managers named Ernesto came and my husband showed him where the bug crawled in between the cushion. We were moved immediately and the manager apologized. Once we were moved we had a new waiter. She was very attentive and courteous as well. Our food came out and we started eating still uneasy and looking around to make sure we do not see another bug. We ate a little bit of our dinner and got take out containers ordered dessert and ate half of the cake. Now comes time for the bill. We were charged full price no discount or anything even though we were inconvenienced due to the restaurant having bugs. We paid the bill in full and proceeded to leave. We left out of the restaurant but we saw the manager as we were leaving, he looked over at us and turned away quickly. My husband went back inside to ask him his name so when we leave our review we will know exactly who we were referring to. Once he told my husband his name he asked if everything was alright. He knew it was not alright because he was avoiding us after the bug incident. In a busy packed restaurant we discretely made it known what we saw a bug crawling without disturbing others. Needless to say we will not be going to this...
Read moreListen here !!! I’ve been a customer of cheesecake for over 5 years now and so much so that I on a regular come every single Saturday to eat my regular meal in which all servers and managers know by heart. I can’t tell u the last time I had to write such a bad review like the one I’m about to leave because every single time it’s been an extremely excellent experience, but this last one on 9/1/24 is completely unacceptable. Last Sunday I made an order which was a ceasar salad WITH NO CHEESE !!! A monkey can make this order so how can a human being in the kitchen get this wrong ??? I don’t know 🤷 but it happened and so I called a supervisor and because I’m a regular he mentioned “ohh it’s you Chris no worries I’ll take care of it for you next time u come as your here weekly” I replied amazing !! Well to my surprise I show up on Sunday the 1st of September same order just this time I make the order with BLaKe & I explain the matter to him and sure enough he made it seem that no problem will take care of it for you when u get here. I arrive and then Blake himself says “oh this is a misunderstanding but I never said I would take care of your bill regardless if your food was not given to you properly last time as we don’t handle situations that way” I replied then why do did they make it sound that way ?! What’s my issues here I spend my hard earned money at this establishment and it breaks me in half on how $15 is too much to cover on a mistake that was clearly the kitchen’s mistake NOT MINE !!! I had to throw away the salad with the cheese and $15 went down the drain… I’m extremely disappointed at this most recent experience with Cheesecake Factory...
