This first time my husband and I ate here (some time in the summer of 2014), it was pretty empty. Maybe it was because of the time we chose to go, but I'm not going to complain since we don't like super busy places anyways. Because of how dead the place was, we were afraid the food wouldn't be good, but the food was actually really good, definitely better than Safeway's. Not super over cooked and dry like some Chinese food you get....

Since then, because of our schedules, we've ordered from here three more times for "pick up" from the convenience of my phone without even calling in, while on my way out of work (how awesome is that?), which is ready by the time I get there. Whenever I have gone in to pick up our food, though, it's always been busy with no parking spots, so I park out front by the little corner/general store place and just run in and pay/grab my food. Super quick and easy. And, they are always very friendly when I go in.

I definitely judged this place when we first moved here in 2012, but after we tried it out, totally changed my view on it and have come back every time I want Asian that's near by, and isn't Safeway's dried, over...

Prices are reasonable, if you get the correct portions of the dish, but when they shorten you on the portion, or they serve you old food, and they do that often ,then it becomes overpriced.

Food has good acceptable chinese flavor, but not authentic chinese flavor. Food is still enjoyable, depending on how picky you are.

White Rice is not fresh. It is already drying , and crusting. ( not acceptable)

Freshness of food is also questionable. Especially if you order take out, or to go, expect your meat, or seafood portion to be much smaller.. they will shorten you on it.( they will skim the portion), and will try to insert old food into your order. That is cheating & dishonesty

They have no problem in cheating customers in many ways, and different ways if they can

Please open the containers, and verify what is in inside, before paying, and walking away.

My husband waited over an hour to get takeout. They had a small party in the back and one other table filled in the restaurant. The food was mediocre. We ordered fish congee, general tso chicken, pan fried green beans, and sticky rice wrap. Other than the sticky rice wrap, all the other dishes should have been quite fast to make. But when my husband got there, they told him that the sticky rice wrap needed another 10 minutes. 10 minutes turned to an hour and finally all our food was ready. Does that even make sense?? There were also other people waiting for takeout and they were also annoyed at how long it was taking. We would not recommend. If the food was good, then maybe the wait would’ve been somewhat worth it, but the food was mediocre, so definitely not worth the wait.

Fish congee: not enough fish, seems watered down General tso chicken: too much batter, there were hard bits (why??) Pan fried green beans: super salty Sticky rice...
