**EDIT: I don't know what you saw in your CCTV but, we never ordered drinks. We never talked to any employee named Jason. The employee present was a girl with long brown hair and she was polite to us. We never asked for a refund for anything. We never used your restroom. We just walked in, asked questions, and left. We only visited your business on Saturday evening. We have not returned any other day. I wrote the review below to help you improve your business. I didn't write this review in malice. I am just really confused about the whole situation. I did not call you any names, I did not say anything rude about your staff or business. I don't appreciate being accused of actions I did not do.
Kung fu Tea, please make your open/closing hours clear and consistant to the public.
My sister and I arrived at the Chastain Meadows location at 11:09pm on Saturday, Feb. 1st. The store was completely lit up and there were roughly 20 people inside sitting, conversing, eating, and drinking. Before we arrived, I checked the closing time and Google read that they close at midnight so we assumed they would be open. We walked to the door and there were a few signs (pictured). One said "CLOSED" and there was one with the restaurant hours displayed. The hours sign read that they close at 11:00pm on Saturdays (pictured). It appeared that some one had written in marker over some of the times to edit, but the marker edit read 11:30pm which we assumed was the new closing time because that's what they wrote. We were confused because at this point Google said they close at Midnight, the sign said they close at 11:30, and the other sign said they are closed. Keeping in mind we arrived at 11:09pm and the place was packed with people, we tried to open the door which was unlocked. I walked in and the employee said "sorry, we're closed, we close at 11pm", so we left briefly. When we walked back in the facility to ask why, and we said "Why does Google say you close at 12am, but your door says you close at 11:30pm and also that you are closed currently at 11:10pm?" The same employee replied, "we close at 11pm". We responded, "how long have you closed at 11?" She stated "For as long as I've worked here, which is a couple of months" we said ok then she apologized as I was walking out the door .
This was our first visit to Kung Fu Tea and our experience was very frustrating and confusing. We were not served. Please standardize your...
Read moreThis location is supposed to be open at 12pm. If it’s open at 12pm, a consumer would expect everything would be ready (bubbles, drinks, etc). I placed a mobile order for an oolong milk tea with bubbles for ASAP pickup and it said it would be ready at 12:10. I get a call few minutes later saying the bubbles wouldn’t be ready until 12:30. This is supposed to be a bubble tea place, how are you not going to have the bubbles ready until 30 mins after you open? If that’s the case, either 1.) change to open at 12:30 or 2.) have your employees come in at 11 and start making the bubbles so it’s ready at 12. My husband goes in at 12:30 and the drink still hasn’t been made. There’s a line of people waiting for drinks and only 1 employee. Seriously? I don’t blame her because how is one person supposed to handle all that. Entire blame goes on the owner/operator of this location. I go to the Duluth KFT a lot as well and have never run into this issue there.
Also I see the owner responds with a generic response to all the negative reviews. How about you actually make changes to the location instead of just following up with some generic response of “sorry for the inconvenience, come in to try one of our popular...
Read morei ordered bubble tea from this shop, and i doordashed the order and my dasher called for substitute, i changed it to another drink. And i wanted an extra topping which can be added in the app. i dont know the name of the asian lady that picked up but she was so rude. im assuming its the owner. She seemed irritated, and She didn’t understand what im trying to say, and instead of listening, she kept talking over me and yelling at me when i was telling her my order. Doordash is able to charge the difference ive had it done before, and she kept refusing to do so just because my original order didn’t have pudding in it. I told her to calm down and i don’t know who she thinks she is to yell at me and talk over me like that. But she needs to learn costumer service skills. If there is a language barrier/gap then she needs to have someone who can bridge that gap for her Instead of yelling at costumers. if you wanted to be treated right then id suggest never visit or order from this place again. Other reviews say the same...
