I'm so disappointed in the experience I had here. I walked in for breakfast, and was super excited for a good waffle house waffle and eggs. I sat down at the bar, where there were two other people who had already been attended to... and waited. And waited. And waited. Meanwhile, the ladies behind the bar were walking back and forth past me, calling out orders, attending to the other 2 men at the bar, but never once acknowledged me, despite making eye contact at least three times. When I finally waved one of them down to get their attention, she looked exasperated and asked me what i needed. I told her I've been waiting to be acknowledged so i can order, and she said they didn't know if I was picking up a to go order or not. Then she said they were very busy (there were the 2 men at the bar and 3 other families there) and she'll be with me in a minute. It was very rude, and the to-go counter is on the other side of the restaurant anyway. Why would I be sitting at the bar if I didn't want anything? There's no host or hostess, so what else would I do as a customer? Eventually, someone came and asked me what I wanted to drink. She forgot my water and I ordered just a waffle and eggs. Everything tasted VERY average - you can tell when people don't make your food with care. Then the waitress brought me my food and water in to-go containers, even though we had established I was dining in. I had to ask for water repeatedly, by the way. And syrup and butter. Then I dined in and ate with plasticware because I was not given another option. It was a miserable experience and I don't see why I would repatronize this place nor recommend it to others, if that's how they treat customers now. Sorry...
Read moreThis Waffle House was absolutely the worst one I have ever eaten in or been in. It was dirty..some guy sleeping in a corner of one table with his feet stretched out. We ordered our food and it came a little bit at a time. The bacon was beyond burnt..the eggs were soso..the grits were rather cold the toast didn't come with the eggs and grits and bacon. It came out in about 15 minutes after I had requested it several times. When the server brought the 8 piices of that all squashed up on a plate but I was done with my grits and eggs by then. The cook kept disappearing and coming back. I thought he left for the evening. I stood up and asked what was going on in this restaurant? I have never seen this kind of service in any Waffle House and everything look nasty..the floors and cooking area..unacceptable to me. To me Waffle House has a code of Fast good food and great service but this location would be a five in my opinion. The one server didn't seem to know what we ordered and kept asking who had this or that.. All server's I have ever had always know who orders what. There was one guy cook and one server and I'm not sure what the other two ladies jobs were..one was eating at the counter and not caring much for what was going on and the other lady..didn't see her half of the time.. I believe Undercover Boss should check out this place in Kennesaw Ga. near the Town Center mall....
Read moreI called in my order of the All Star Special. I drove over to the Waffle House and sent in my boyfriend to pay and get my order, the workers in there totally ignored him. He gave them my name they still ignored him. I waited in my car for about 10 minutes then I came in to see what was going on. I told the lady at the counter I was picking up for the All Star Special because they didn’t ask for my name on the phone. The other lady across the store said what’s the name very rude and obnoxious. I said, the person on the phone never asked she ignored me also. Their was only one lady in there who took her time and actually helped me I didn’t catch her name but I wish I did. They messed up my order first I asked for sausage, I got bacon, then I asked and paid for double tomatoes in my hash browns I only saw about 3 or 4 chunks of them in my hash browns. This was not a very good experience at Waffle House. I usually get decent service in Waffle House but...
