From an adults standpoint this place is a mental breakdown waiting to happen. Especially from an adult who didn’t realize what type of establishment I was walking into. That’s my bad. My kids had a blast though. They absolutely loved the environment as well as the games. They loved all of the kids running around. They loved all of the noise and the lights. They didn’t care for the food though. They can be picky eaters though. My son likes the noodles and red sauce, however he was too excited by the lights of the games. The food was okay. If you’ve never been to a cicis before, and if you have kids, and don’t have anxiety issues, this is a great place to bring your kids. If you are sensitive to overbearing noises and flashing lights , and a stranger preforming magic at your table for tips then this might not be the place for you. The magician was nice, however he was not employed by the establishment and was working for tips. He seemed like a nice guy , just trying to make money and I can respect that. However as a person with anxiety issues, I don’t enjoy a person hovering by my table. But the smile on my child’s face when watching the magic tricks was awesome and makes it worth it. Most of the time we spent there, the food was cycled out as thoroughly as possible. For the most part the place was clean. There were tables that were messy but it was a Friday night, and half the tables were full. There were large parties throughout the whole place. I think the staff are doing their best and while dining there, they were always doing something productive. The Alfredo sauce was off putting. The red sauce was okay, better than other places I’ve been. Sometimes the pizza slices were really hard. The chicken looked really fake though and the chicken broth for their chicken noodle soup looked like it came out of a can. Which it probably did considering this is a place where on a Friday night you can spend 30$ for a buffet for two kids and two adults. So cheap bite, but I’m still hungry because the food wasn’t appetizing. But I also don’t blame the restaurant for that because I like flavor and their target audience is kids. Which people are taught to not give their kids flavors so kids don’t care if the food is tasteless. Anyways the kids had a good time. I’m still coming down from the anxiety that this place gave me. But I still think it’s a good place and a nice place to go...
Read moreWe went to Cici's Pizza today and it is NO longer the enjoyable family experience that it used to be. Okay CiCi's is not a fancy type restaurant but, for a simple family experience it was nice but, now plastic silverware, paper cups, paper bowls for HOT soup. They took away the trays. We are carrying HOT soup in a paper bowl without a tray (are they insane?). The pizza servers the plastic handles were so hot I had to repeatedly put them down. I even handed one backwards to an employee so she could feel how hot they were. She agreed with me. Imagine a child trying to serve themselves and handling the hot plastic handled pizza servers or the hot soup in this paper bowl which in 20 seconds was burning my hand thank god I was only 2 feet from the table. If a kid was holding this so call "bowl" of soup they would have surely dropped or spilled hot soup on someone. This plastic/paper stuff has to go. If I wanted a picnic I would have gone to the park. Let's talk about the food. I have 2 pizzas that I order every time. I am obsessed with them but, today when I ordered my usual pizzas I have no idea what they did to them. I could not even eat one whole piece they were so spicy and they don't even have anything spicy on them (Alfredo and the other one bbq sauce). I told the girl and she did not seem to care. My mouth was burning so bad I even tried eating a dessert and I still could not get the taste nor the heat out of my mouth. I finally asked to get a box to go. When I got it home one of the older kids who loves spicy foods tried it and even she said she could not eat it. I have no idea what the new owner/owners was/were thinking but, they are serving hot items in inappropriate vessels plus hot plastic handles. I am telling you this is a recipe for disaster. Someone is going to get seriously burnt. People let their little children as young as 5 go up to that buffet and get...
Read moreThis place is absolutely disgusting. the pictures shown don't even do it enough justice. DO NOT TAKE YOUR FAMILY HERE EVER EVER EVER. I wish there was a way that i could give it negative stars because even one star is giving it to much. The manager with the glasses is absolutely unprofessional. Because we complained he threw our pizza onto the table at us and he even had other customers commenting on our issue because he asked them about issues we were having and said we couldnt afford to eat there which was not the case at all. if it wasnt for our kids wanting to eat there we would never of came here to begin with. All the plates we grabbed were dirty, the counters, the floor, bathroom, pretty much every freaking thing was dirty. There was hair in another customers food, no one was washing their hands, they were sitting food on dirty counter tops, there was ants crawling all over. This is absolutely the worst CICI's in the history of cici's and of course they give you no number you can call to complain. whoever put 5 stars on here must be an employee because every single time we have come here it has been disgusting and we had to leave. WE WILL NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER come back here again. EVER. I will just take the drive to clearwater or even tampa before i deal with this place again. This place is a joke. Oh and we saw the guy making our food drop the cheese container on the ground and he picked it up and continued to use it. He grabbed veggies from the salad bar to make pizzas. we asked for a corporate number or complaint line and he wouldnt give it to us. DO NOT EVER COME HERE. They don't have a BBB page because they know how freaking disgusting it is here. Someone needs to investigate this place. I will be contacting the news, health department and code...
