Bring many people. You will want to have as much to try as possible and the portions for many of their tastiest dishes are meant for more than one person. Family style eating is definitely recommended.
The place has very authentic Sichuan food that does not pull any punches on flavor. It is hands down perfect food for cold weather, and even in the heat it's something you'll end up craving. Updates after several visits!
It's still absolutely amazing food.
The Fei Teng fish is everything I hoped for and more. The Beef noodle soup is an actual addiction which I consider every time I go into the Tri-cities. Their Wontons are very fresh and delicate as well. I haven't found anything on their menu I don't like.
The hot and sour soup is also something I judge almost every Chinese food place on. They absolutely nailed it, perfect combo of sour and warm white pepper flavors and a good amount of wood ear mushroom. And yes, it is the sichuan style of the soup (which I greatly prefer over henan or american variations)
I have included pictures of my visits! I must say that for every picture that I see the actual food has been even better than the photos can do justice for.

Favorites were the Sliced Spicy Beef Tendon, which is mostly mala flavor (Not very spicy, but more like numbing sensation which warms you up) combined with beef shank which is sliced thin and served cold. Makes for a very sweet and overall addictive appetizer.
The eggplant braised with pork belly was also done to perfection, with an explosion of flavors. Definitely a must try if you are a more concerned with heat.
Finally, it's a local family restaurant. A good one with amazing people behind the counter and in the kitchen. The owner, staff, and really everyone there was kind and compassionate from the very first moment we walked through the door to the last. Even if the food was half as good the personality and charm of the people there would bring me back.
Other notes: They recently added the ability to order from tablets on the table, with well taken photos (also visible on their website) that accurately represent what kind of amazing food you'll be getting. It allows the group to go through and pick the things they want all together and really streamlines the whole process. Other Sichuan places I've gone to, we usually have to pick a person as a designated orderer just so you can get all the tasty things together, so having an interactive way to do...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've gone to this place a couple of times before and just gotten take out. This time I brought my daughter to dine in. We both weren't feeling well and the last time I came in I saw people sitting down and ordering soup dumplings and soup so I felt like that would help our stomachs. It's a Friday so I understand it's a bit busier. The restaurant was already full when we got there so I expected for wait to take a little longer. I'm not sure how they run tickets back there but I did feel like they had quite a few Togo orders and we sat for a long time before our soup dumplings came out and our soup. We did order a few entrees but my daughter started feeling worse so I asked them if they could make them Togo. In our sit down time, I wouldn't say I wasn't a little upset with how long we were there and even saw people that came in after us get their entrees first. I saw people come to pick up their orders and have to wait. This guy a few tables over went up to complain about how long his food took and I saw the lady who is basically running the whole place apologize and her demeanor turn sad. Then I realized my sister owns a small Thai restaurant that I work for and it's family run. I serve while 3 of them cook in the back and they work so hard. Even if they didn't have time to check up on us, I believe they work just as hard and I really wish people would understand how hard it is to run a small family run business. Sometimes you are that person that has to do everything and still she remained friendly and apologetic. Sometimes you have to accept that you're doing your best and for those of you who like the food or want to try, you can't go wrong with the soups. I know her mother wakes up every morning and does all the dim sum. That's something to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe got here at 4:05 pm right after they reopened on Sunday evening. First people there. Placed our order at roughly at 4:15 pm. Two other groups of people arrived after we had placed our order. They were served before us. They finished their food before we even got ours. We have 3 children. It was not an easy wait. I finally decided to speak up after we had been waiting an entire 45 minutes. The women at the front saw me walking towards her and waived saying "it's coming it's coming". I turned around and sat back down. We still waited another 20 minutes for the first plate of fried rice to come. Then 2 or three minutes later a noodle plate. Then 5 minutes later finally got the other two plates. We didn't place a large order. It was simple dishes. No Apologies for the wait. Then when we were getting ready to go, one of the cooks was standing right next to our table ready to clean it. We still weren't even standing up. I was so very embarrassed as the other groups that got their food before us kept looking over at us. I hate to pull the race card but we are a Hispanic family and the others were Caucasians. Truly felt like they were trying to keep them happy over us. It was humiliating. Never will I go here again. And I sure hope they read this review. So...
