When I first moved here I was impressed with this Kennewick store compared to the one I used to frequent in my home state. Kennewick was clean and always had full shelves and delicious goods. Friendly service was hit or miss. Sometimes if lucky I'd get super friendly service, other times not so much. Sadly as of late things have really declined here. But I put up with it because I didn't really fancy driving out to Pasco. BUT today will be my last time here at Kennewick. Awhile ago for whatever reason because no matter how many times I asked no one ever had an answer, most acting like they "never had" the items I asked about like, "why did you stop making the oatmeal chocolate chip cookie", answer, "huh, we have the chocolate chip cookies, we never had oatmeal"...incorrect. Question: "why did you stop baking cinnamon rolls without icing?"., "we've always had icing on it, you just didn't see it because it melted", noooo, there was a time when customers had a choice, "iced or not"...fact. At Kennewick. I got a cinnamon roll today (with "melted" icing) and it was severely UNDERCOOKED. RAW DOUGH. And it was disgusting. I got the spice cookies and on the bottom they were brunt! Nice. These I had planned to pass around to my elderly neighbors but because they were SO burnt I had to toss them. The store itself was a mess. Half the store was empty. While everything else was crammed in front of the counter making it very tight for us to move around. They did not have anything that was on the menu for Thursday. The counter person said it was because it's the holidays. I shop Great Harvest - Kennewick and have never had this problem during the "holidays". This is my 6th year living here and shopping at this store. No dog treats and this is not the first time they have no clue when they'll have more. Maybe this store needs to look at management to see what's going on. Find someone who takes pride in this store and their position making it the best is can be, not just making it "good enough", frankly it's not even good enough. As you all know Great Harvest isn't cheap, so I expect to get my money's worth, mediocre doesn't cut it, it's cheating me. So with that said, I'm done with this place. I'm tired how customers are being cheated these days like we don't matter when it's us who feeds the owners. Keeps their heads above water. RAW and BURNT food is not acceptable , not for...

I used to love coming to Great Harvest for their fresh ingredients, hearty sandwiches, and the friendly, welcoming service that always made the visit feel like a treat. Unfortunately, my recent experience left me both disappointed and frustrated.
I was genuinely excited to stop in, expecting the same quality and warmth I remembered. But right away, the atmosphere felt off. The staff, especially the young women behind the counter, seemed disinterested and unapproachable. When I asked a couple of simple questions about the sandwich options, I was met with short, clipped responses and worse, I overheard them making snide remarks and laughing about me afterward. It was uncomfortable and unprofessional.
As for the sandwich itself, it didnāt live up to Great Harvestās usual standards. The bread was fine, but the ingredients lacked the fresh, vibrant quality I used to count on. It felt more like something hastily thrown together than a carefully made meal.
It's disappointing to see such a great local spot lose the charm and care that once made it special. I hope this was just an off day, but sadly, I left feeling unwelcome and let down, something I never expected to say about...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI usually wouldnāt say anything but thought I might under my circumstances. As I entered the store, the gal at the bread counter (long ponytail and glasses) greeted me, asked me if I wanted any sample pieces of bread, and then proceeded to rub her hands through the end of her ponytail. Then, she walked over to begin filling orders for the people in front of me without washing her hands or putting on gloves. Itās just so unsanitary to do that and itās pretty gross in the food service industry to experience something like that. I LOVE Great Harvest and have never experienced a situation like this before. If itās a habit for this gal to run her hands through her hair, she might consider wearing her hair in a different style to help prevent the situation from occurring while at work. Just thought the management would...
