Tacos La Flama — Restaurant in Kenosha

Great tacos! I've recently been obsessed with taco trucks and I've been able to try quite a few. This taco truck was actually recommended by another vendor who operates in the area so I figured I'd try them out. I ordered 2 burria tacos. They came with dipping sauce and were pretty good. The business had a nice setup where you were able to wait in your car etc. And they sent you a message when your food was ready. The tacos were really good, the wait was pretty short. I probably waited about 5-7 minutes for my order. The staff there were friendly as well. I did find the price to be slightly high. I paid about $12 for two tacos, a bit more including a 20 percent tip. This price seemed high to me. There is another business with the same burria tacos available that charges about $12 for an entire taco. All in all i found the food good, the price not so much. I was visiting from Milwaukee and this was one of the places I really wanted to try. It was the best quesabirria I have ever had! My bf got the ramen birria and he was a fan too. We also got the piña agua fresca and the limón con pepino one. Agua frescas can honestly be a hit or miss so I was pretty nervous to try but they were both amazing. I can’t wait to come back and get the birria pizza and try the horchata as well. The guy taking our order was nice and understanding, I had forgotten I had cancelled my bank card earlier that day and couldn’t transfer money over to my cashapp. I had him waiting at least 4 minutes before my bf just paid for us. He didn’t give me attitude or anything, he told me to take my time and smiled. 10/10 would come here...

First time customers here. I’ve seen several ads for their food on my Facebook and finally decided to stop. We ordered the ramen, chicken tacos, chicken tamale and rice and beans. Person at the register was quick and polite. Food took about 18 minutes to come out which seemed a little long but the food made up for it. The ramen was a perfect balance of the meat and noodles along with the onions and cilantro. Ended up using the red sauce which had a nice spicy kick. The chicken tamale was just ok. Chicken tacos were perfected seasoned and the rice and beans were flavorful. All in all great food and would come back again to try...
