Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Kenosha

Food was great, but service not so much. I came into the restaurant and stood behind the woman at the register who was having an issue with her coupon. There were two workers behind the counter trying to help her. I saw pickup orders on the back shelf and was waiting for someone to ask me if I was there for a pickup order, since I had not went to the line for building a sandwich. Nobody said anything to me, the two workers behind the counter kept helping her with her coupon that wasn’t working and also began to help this other guy off the side who was there for a refund. There was one other worker in the store who was making sandwiches for those in the line for building sandwiches so I wasn’t expecting him to help me. One of the workers that were at the register then went to make a phone call about something. They clearly see I’m right behind the customer at the register, and not even close to the line for building a sandwich. Once the lady with the coupon issue left, they were still doing something on the register for the guy with the refund who was standing on the side. I was literally the one right in front of the register at that point and still neither of them asked if I was here for a pickup until I said something. Just stood there looking at the register screen as if I wasn’t even right there in front of them. This all took about 10 minutes since I got into the store. People put pickup orders in to avoid waiting in lines. A simple break in what they were doing for a 2 second “you here for a pickup?” after seeing I’m not getting in the ordering line would’ve avoided my 10 minute wait....

3/29 at 1pm. Manager was extremely rude, with an attitude, yelling at me. All because I asked an employee how much longer for an order. I wasn’t rude or anything. Other than asking that one question, I was patiently waiting quietly. It was a simple, polite question. Once Manager was done with her tirade, I told her that I didn’t know why she was yelling or acting the way that she was and that there was no reason for it. An hour later I called to ask for manager only to find out that “she” was the manager. She decided to yell at me again over the phone with an attitude claiming it didn’t matter who I was asking the question to, that she had every right to behave the way she had and was behaving. So I hung up, only for her to call me back and continue her tirade claiming that all of the employees laughed at me once I had left the store earlier. This behavior from a manager of a food store is beyond unprofessional. It is unacceptable and uncalled for. Customer service training is definitely needed for this “manager”. There is no reason to yell at someone for asking a simple and polite question, especially when the question wasn’t even directed to them. Furthermore, for a manager to call someone back so they could yell more and make a point to state that all of the employees were backing this manager’s atrocious behavior is beyond ridiculous. I like Jersey Mikes because they have gluten free options however this location is on a whole other level in the worst way. Went here with my children and we were very uncomfortable. Staff was incompetent and rude, they were all chatting and not even looking at us to take our order. When the girl took our order I didn't even know she was taking my order it sounded like she was asking what type of bread I wanted to restock, I then had to ask if she was making mine after waiting 10 minutes of them screwing around right in front of me and had to correct her on GF bread after she touched all the Gluten bread with her gloves on still. I didn't get half the toppings I asked for. From the point of standing in line and being only one customer away from ordering, the entire process took 40 fricken minutes! Not to mention they could see I had a hangry toddler on my hip and eveb my 8 yr old asked why they were acting like this and not working. It seemed like a low class hang out and not a work environment. I honestly won't come here again. It felt dirty just from the way they behaved. They all seemed new, unprofessional and like they all knew nothing and didn't care. I won't be back at...
