On October 10, 2012, I called in a carry out order. I ordered two items. A quart of shrimp fried rice and a quart of shrimp with broccoli. The round trip was 10 miles. My older daughter had it on her lap and I'm not sure how - a lot of grease leaked out all over the bag and my daughter. She was in the front seat and I was able to observe her. It leaked by no fault on her part. When I returned home, I stepped out of the kitchen.Upon returning, my younger daughter had opened both containers and began to scoop the food into bowls. One carton contained shrimp egg foo young. Normally, I would have just kept the food. However, my oldest daughter was craving shrimp fried rice and that is the only Chinese food she will eat. I called Hong Kong and spoke to the same lady that took my order. She apologized and told me I needed to bring back the shrimp egg foo young. I advised her my younger daughter had already opened the container. She told me again I needed to package it back up and return it. I traveled another 10 miles, to return it. When I went inside to make the exchange, she advised me I owed another $1.20. I said youโre kidding me, I had to drive here twice due to an error on your part, my daughter was now going to be late for her game and youโre going to charge me an additional $1.20? She said yes, the shrimp fried rice costs more than the shrimp egg foo young. I would not know as I was never given a receipt either time. I had to run back outside and retrieve the $1.20. So it you placed a carry out order, maybe it was the order we returned? At any rate, the customer service was poor and the food extremely greasy. We will never patronize this...
ย ย ย Read moreOkay, I've lived all over Maryland, I've eaten at MANY MANY different Chinese restaurants. Chinese food is absolute favorite! The only reason I have given this place a two star is because the prices are good and customer service is good. Ive eaten their food three time over the last two years, always hoping the food would get better. Ever time, its been a disappointment. The rice has no flavor to it, the wonton soup has no flavor, the chicken and broccoli just taste's awful. I mean, how can you make chicken and broccoli taste bad? Once, during work, I wanted to order food and was told that to substitute lo mein for the fried rice I would have to pay an additional 5 dollars? ARE YOU CRAZY?? Yes, many places do have a mark up of a dollar or two for lo mein but 5 dollars? I dont know why I keep giving them the benefit of the doubt that the food will get better cause it never does. Food- awful, Price- good, Service- average. I dont recommend this place to anyone, go to the...
ย ย ย Read moreDelicious! My first time trying this restaurant. They had take out AND eat in. Eat in was 2 tables and 8 or so seats. I ordered the lunch special. It was super inexpensive. It was $7 and some change. Like $7.25. Came with pork fried rice, the entree, and a choice of: 1 can soda OR soup. Also got an egg roll. The egg roll was so MEATY! In a good way. It was full of that glazed red pork. The fried rice was amazing. It was a nice dark color from the soy sauce, and had fresh onions, fresh bean sprouts, and nice ham chunks in it. Loved it! Everything was great. Ordered the general tsao chicken. Crispy and came on a bed of steamed broccoli And a side of white rice. It was perfect. Highly recommend....
