Love Point Deli Wine & Spirits — Restaurant in Maryland

We have shopped here several times since moving to the area this past summer (2023) and have had no issues until today. Went to the counter with four bottles of wine and asked if I could leave them at the counter while I continued to shop. I was told very rudely by a man with a beer belly and mustache, NO... that this was a checkout counter and to embarrass me further he held up a sign that reinforced his statement. This man should not be working in customer service. There were many ways he could have handled this without being rude. We did not buy anything and have no intention of ever returning to this store. Looking at the reviews for this store, there are many 1 star reviews and several also talking about rude staff. There are many places in the area to buy alcohol so no need to shop here if you don't have to. I can assure you this is not the first time this man has treated customers like this.....and the day before Thanksgiving too. My lack of shopping here will not close this store, but I will tell as many people as I can about the poor customer service here. And to the rude man behind the counter, you should find a new job that doesn't require you working...

I have been a frequent customer for the past 10 years. I dealt with the non custom made sandwich change and kept going even though I no longer get sandwiches. After today's attitude from the staff I doubt I will be back. I walk into 5 people behind tje deli all staring and laughing, the girl comes over, we say hello and she just stares at us with complete silence and attitude that were ordering lunch meat. Almost as if we interrupted them standing there. We get our lunch meat from a boy who basically tossed it over and turned around when we said thanks. Checking out we interrupted the cashiers lunch as she was eating behind the counter and couldn't talk with her mouth full of food. The quality has gone down in a way and the custodlmer...

This an awesome deli and known on Kent Island as the go to deli for the best sandwiches around. Has awards for being peoples choice. All the sandwiches on the menu are great eats plus they have many other items available such as macaroni and potato salads and much, much more. There is a large wine selection and something for everyone that is a wine connoisseur. The beer selection is very good and has a large selection of domestics, imports, and special brewed IPAs, ect. The spirit section has you covered with a huge selection of vodka, gin, whiskey, and tequila choices and a whole lot more. Plenty of chips, snacks, candy, sodas and energy drinks. Great food and an awesome selection of beverages, you can't go wrong here. Highly...
