Lastnight I went in for dinner, the girl was very sweet and got my order right. Then we walked over to the drink station and it was a huge mess! I cleaned it up, since they we alittle short staffed or something. Most of the sodas were empty too so we had to have the girl fill up our drinks in the back. Again still fine. Other customers were having to do the same thing. Then the manager comes around the corner. He is so ride to his employees for starters! That's really made me mad to watch. But the cookies we ordered I guess weren't made so he was blaming them. The girl apologized to me and offered us the other kid of cookies. We said yes ofcourse, it's not a big deal. We wait for about 20 minutes for our food. When we finally got our food the manager was so rude! I waited another 5 minutes just to speak to him because there was a price difference in cookies. I would have even just accepted an additional cookie or something! So he gave me my change back but he basicly threw it in my hand and huffed off dodnt say anything to me or apologize. Hes been rude to us before too in drive through. That guy does not deserve to be a manager. And the girl at the cash register (I wish I knew her name) was so sweet I hope she gets a raise or something. But I dont think I'll be coming...
Read moreThis restaurant has received several bad reviews that I feel may be a little out of date. My most recent experiences at the Burger King on Meeker St. have been great! I will be completely honest, however, and let everyone know that cleanliness is still somewhat of an issue here. It isn’t horrible; just that some of the tables, booths, and floor could use a wipe-down more frequently. Besides the housecleaning, the service is excellent! I came in for a burger one day and nearly one week later, when I returned, the man that served me the previous week remembered my order exactly AND my name! The Wi-Fi is fast and always working and they have an outlet to power your laptop if you’re getting work done on lunch. The only time that I eat at a competitor’s burger restaurant, is when they have Wi-Fi and power. If I can handle eating a cardboard burger or be forced to order from a nasty breakfast menu, I will make this sacrifice in order to use Wi-Fi. The great thing about Burger Kings with Wi-Fi and power is that you get a REAL burger, you can order from any menu regardless of what time it is, and most of all, you can use the internet while you enjoy your grade A,...
Read moreWent to this location and stood at the counter for over five minutes without any acknowledgement I was even there. One of the women working the drive-thru made eye contact with me twice so I know she knew I was there. The other woman was standing there, doing nothing, looking puzzled, like she had no clue what she was doing. I finally just quietly left, realizing I was not going to get the flame broiled Whopper I had my taste buds all set for in any kind of reasonable time.
To be fair they did seem moderately busy. There were three other people standing there, clearly waiting for their orders. The drive-up was busy (ish) with five cars in queue.
Bottom line; this is the second time I've had poor service from this location (or in this case, no service). I really like Burger King (flame broiled burgers are the best IMHO) but this has been a huge turn-off. If this is how corporate is allowing their franchises to be run...well, I guess we know why they are second best when it comes to the burger wars. I went next door to McDonald's, ordered, got my meal and left before the second car in the drive-up at Burger King got...
