Ishtar Greek & Mediterranean Cuisine — Restaurant in Kent

I have never done a online review before but feel compelled to after the experience my wife and myself had at Ishtar this last weekend. First to put this in perspective my wife and myself were on one of our weekend road trips and were looking for lunch. I had my wife pipe in Greek Food in her phone to locate a place for lunch. The closest was Ishtar less than a mile away, We had never been there before but we love trying new restaurants and I love Greek food, it fit the bill, upon arrival I must say nothing on the outside prepared me for the experience we were about to face on the inside. Now keep in mind I am not Greek, have never been to Greece and have no idea what authentic Greek food taste like, but I can tell you that I have tried every Greek restaurant I can find from southern Oregon to western Washington and this was "BY FAR" the best we have had the pleasure of enjoying to date!! The service was excellent but most of all the food was 1st class. As my belly will tell you I am a food concierge and I can not wait to go back to Ishtar this comming weekend!!! The Chicken with rice & beef kebab was hard & dry because it came from the freezer, the recipe & flavor was terrible, there isn't any top notch quality in food anymore restaurants just cook food for the sake of getting paid, people just eat from restaurants for the sake of not feeling hungery or filling up there stomachs, and chefs cook food for the sake of making salary. Its all about paying the cheapest groceries foods from restaurant depot or supermarkets & serve the customers with very expensive plates or meals & no one cares about asking the customers about the food quality. In other words change your chef your chef can't cook step up your game, i don't mind the prices to be pricey once the quality of the food is there because this time it wasn't there if it was there is alot of people would have ponder on there foods. Really good food , reasonable prices, spacious, lots of space for seating. Good customer service. Easy to understand menu. Have photos of most dishes.

Their shish kabab,is delicious. Their Falafel is good but way too crunchy, almost over cooked , and the funky little yellow sauce that comes with, I really don't know where they came up with it. In my entire life I never seen or tasted such a weird dipping sauce for the falafel. Usually the falafel is served either Tzatzekie sauce, or Tahini sauce, or minced salsa ( middle eastern style & flavor) . Almost look like green chutney, But never, never seen or tasted this yucky sauce for falafel😝😝😝🤮🤮🤮🤢🤢🤢

Location is good . From outside the place look like Getto , and the parking lot is rough, and neglected. It is because the lot owner does not pay attention to improving it.
