This place is located in a narrow 2 way street making feel like a small town but it's right smack in the middle of a large city. The selection is pretty good for mystery and sci-fi, slightly overpriced. If you are looking for history, biography, self-improvement etc then the selection is pretty small and these books are more overpriced in my opinion. Upside the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable and very willing to help so I will return just not as often.

Learned about them from social media. Great little book store for all your genre reading needs plus a bunch of hard to find or older editions. They do have manga and some sci-fi toys as well as boxes of older comics and genre magazines. Great little shopping area in Kent as well. Worth the drive if you are into that kind of stuff. I drove an hour to get there and considered it worth it.

This is a fantastic bookstore! There is a little of everything and a lot of fantasy, sci-fi, and horror. They have both new and used books - some were even just $2.50! There's something for everyone here. The staff is very friendly and eager to help!

I own a home in downtown Kent, and one of the reasons I bought here back in 2004 was because I loved the feel of old downtown shopping and dining area. We had many antique and used book stores, as well as some wonderful restaurants. Then the mall came in, and I do love that as well, it brought another aspect to being able to walk to the theater or big name stores without having to go miles out of your way to get there. However, as with many such neighborhoods, the old downtown area took a huge hit. I miss the antique and book stores.

Which is all said to lead into Page Turner Books, and why he gets a five star. I walk my dog in down town a lot, and I noticed that in the corner of one of the old buildings a used book store had opened. I was thrilled, I did have my dog however (she is wonderfully behaved), and didn't feel good about taking her in because it had been raining and she had gotten pretty wet. So I opened the door and asked the owner to come to me out side. He did and I asked if he had 2 particular writers, he went in to check and brought what he had for them. There was two that I had been wanting for quite a while. As we stood outside, he took my card and went back inside to do the transaction. Needless to say I was thrilled that I didn't have to drive into Tukwila to find them. I have been there a couple of times with my dog, and he has always helped me in that manner. I've also been into the shop and been very happy with the books I was able to find. I may not always find what "I need", but I invariably find what I want. Why does he get a five star for being a used book store you ask? Because he opened a few years ago (3-4?), and is still there, he must be doing something right, and not...

My boyfriend and I absolutely love going to this store. We do not particularly live close but try and get out there every few months. If we lived closer I could see us going there every weekend.

They have an amazing range between comics, manga, movies, art, toys (figurines), and soooo many books.

In the past we have been able to find comics and books that we thought we would never be able to find.

In my case I found most of Edgar Rice Burroughs John Carter books in the book cover style I was collecting to give to my sister as a gift.

As you have figured out I could go on and on about this shop. But the last things I will say is, the store owner has been nice and super helpful anytime we have gone and you can't beat that selection of material to...

This is exactly everything that you want from a used bookstore that also sells new books and other products. From curated recommendations to quirky owner who's better with books than people but in a Charming movie character kind of way. To Friendly staff. The space is warm and inviting and smells like books it is everything that you want for that old school 1970s I just stepped off the main street into a back alley to go into the little book shop run by an independent bookseller. Very much beginning of...
