Guaranteed Cellphone & PC Repair — Local services in Kent

I experienced the worst customer service at this business. I initially visited this location on 08/17/25. What was supposed to be a twenty (20) minutes visit turned into a 2 1/2 hour wait to simply change my phone's battery. I was told that the cost of repair would be $126.62 and I needed to pay upfront. I immediately voiced that was strange to pay for services prior to service rendered. Peter the store clerk later informed me that it wasn't the battery but charging port which needed to be replaced. He informed me that he would have to order the part due to not having it in stock. He instructed me to return on Monday to receive my phone.

I returned on 08/18/25 and was told that they hadn't been the part. Again, I was told to return Tuesday 08/19/25 and that my phone would be available for pickup. I returned Tuesday and was told by Peter that he had texted me to alert me that the part hadn't arrived. I inquired what number did he text me at and he provided me with my mobile number. I told him that my phone was in his possession at the store therefore I couldn't receive any text messages. He told me to return on Wednesday 08/20/25 and he assured me that my phone would be ready.

I arrived at the store Wednesday morning and the owner Mohammed said that he didn't have the charging port but it would be repaired that day. I told him that I would return after 6 pm to retrieve my phone. Mohammed informed me that if the part had not arrived he would give me a phone as a replacement. We agreed and I left. I returned at 6:40 pm to a closed store with other customers awaiting the store opening. I called Mohammed to let him know that I was currently at the store waiting he told me that he had lost his car keys. I told him that I would return on Thursday 08/21/25 to get my phone. Arrived Thursday to meet Peter who said that the manager was out I requested that he give me my phone repaired or not. He implied that my phone was in a lockbox and the owner had the key. I left and returned Friday 08/22/25. Peter reinterated the same story of no manager and my phone in the lockbox. I then contacted Kent Police department for assistance. Police officer Davis arrived on the scene and I informed him what I had endured the entire week and I simply just wanted my phone. He spoke with Peter who said that he would try and locate my phone. To no avail did I leave with my phone on Friday. However, Peter did relay to Officer Davis that the owner was enroute to the store. I told Peter that I would return when the owner arrives. Upon return to the store the owner was upset that I had notified the Police of their behavior regarding my phone. I told him that someone had to expedite matters. I asked to just give me phone although they had asked me to pay $126.62 up front for services that had not been rendered. He was very hostile with me and told me that my phone would be ready Saturday 08/23/25. Both me and my son arrived Saturday at this store and they had another excuse that Amazon was delivering the part that day. My son told them to give me the phone. I finally got my phone unrepaired and left this establishment.

This was by far the worst customer experience I have ever received in my life. This business is horrible and I hope my review will spare another customer of receiving this...

SAVE YOURSELF FROM TROUBLE! If you value your devices and want to get them fixed well and on time, DO NOT BRING YOUR DEVICE HERE!!! They start off by making you give them a down payment of 99 dollars even before fixing it , as a way to make you commit to them which l should have already seen as a big red flag. I brought my laptop to be fixed as it had an issue with the charging port. I was told it would take 2 days , im writing this review nearly 3 months later. Peter the attendant working there was not only useless but also very dishonest on his capabilities to fix it. I tried to be patient and understanding; I would call the shop ask if it was ready he would say yes and when I would go to pick it up he would come up with a new story on why it wasn't working asking for more time. I made a total of 8 trips to the shop after being told the laptop was fixed only to go back empty handed. I believe the attendant has since been fired and mohamed told me he would fix my laptop over the weekend. After which he said he was sick and unable to do it and i should come the next day in the evening. When i arrived not to my suprise but the shop was closed and his phone off. Another attempt to get my laptop i was told it could not be found. Im ay loss on what to do. I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at this shop. I highly doubt the positive reviews because while waiting at the store I met with several irritated customers who had similar experiences to mine. I thought I was delaing with an honest business but...

I have to share my incredible experience with this phone repair shop! I recently dropped my phone (ugh, the worst!), and the screen was completely shattered. I was devastated, but I needed to get it fixed ASAP.

Honestly, when I first walked up to the store, I was a little hesitant. It looked a bit rough around the edges, and I wasn't sure what to expect. But let me tell you, any reservations I had disappeared the moment I stepped inside. The guys working there were so friendly and clearly worked super hard. You could tell they were dedicated to their customers. What really struck me was seeing their kids there, helping out and just being a part of the family business. It was heartwarming and showed how much they put into their work.

They fixed my phone so quickly, and it looks brand new! I was expecting to pay a fortune, but their prices were more than fair. What really sealed the deal for me was seeing them help out another customer who didn't have enough money to pay for their repair. That speaks volumes about their integrity and kindness. More than the great service and price, it was the genuine care and hard work that impressed me the most. I 100% recommend this place to anyone needing phone repairs. Don't let the exterior fool you; these guys are amazing, and I guarantee I'll be back if I ever need anything else...
